It does sound like it has legs and fingers crossed with obvious usual reservation about it being 'too complicated', not enough time etc.
He is obviously fantastically talented and I am absolutely NOT saying don't sign him. But does anybody wonder if he might struggle with the pace and physicality of the Premiership week in week out.
Arguably he might be what we need in very tight games so who cares. And you might also say Kane isn't lightning quick but then Kane is a beast and is a master at shielding the ball and drawing fouls, bookings.
I just remember how good Lamela looked in Serie A and then when he got here we realised that, though he could beat defenders at will, he rarely had the pace to leave them behind afterwards. That said, Dybala is, I think, more skilful and has better acceleration and of course can score from anywhere.
Anyway, I think this means that like Lamela he'll be best through the middle, not out wide so those formations with him left or right of a front 3 won't be using him as well we could and I'd be surprised to see him there
