You should arguably change your tag line to 'pessimist'.
I'd imagine most Spurs fans are aware enough to realise we don't usually wrap up two 50-60m+ deals in a couple of days. It's possible it can happen, however it would represent a big change at the club.

No you're right. That's why we've been negotiating these deals for weeks.

Once a fee is agreed everything should go through pronto

Didn’t the Lo Celso thread get locked precisely because the discussion was about something else other than the player?

I know. Followed this team for 45 odd years, so believe me, I know. However, I can't influence the activity, or lack thereof, so I choose to retain faith.

You should arguably change your tag line to 'pessimist'. The optimist in me says, BF, GLC and RS. Fuck it, lets throw in Hysaj and Dybala for shits and giggles.

Username already taken. Seen it.

CE leaving is holding everything up...been told he could be going up north, which is strange...definitely want BF and GLC not or....was told we want 3 which maybe refers to Dybala too?

Wow. If he goes to United I’ll lose all respect for him.

If he goes to a Liverpool it’ll be a nightmare.

I don’t see why that would be holding us up though, get the two players in and then negotiate his departure...

Don't care where he goes if we get BF and GLC. Better than only getting one/none of them and have Eriksen leave for nothing in 12 months, where he could still sign for a rival. Better to get the cash now

Let’s get him gone ASAP. We cannot be dancing to his tune.

While losing him to United would be a massive kick in the teeth, I can't see any positives in keeping an unhappy player (who we'll lose for no money at all in a year's time) while also preventing us from bringing in reinforcements.

At some point we have to bite the bullet and get them in before he makes his decision. We have 4 days or so
Can't see this happening. I think we'll get one in, and CE will leave after the window closes to Real/Juve thus leaving us worse off than we are now until at least January.

He needs to go now. If he’s seriously considering Utd, then his head is definitely not with us anymore
