Leicester will be in the mix, they’re in a lot better shape than arsenal
Alternatively:Alternatively:
- be 4th-6th choice CB unlikely to play regular football for the next season
- be an almost guaranteed starter in the PL and Europe and use that team as a stepping stone to a big club
Wolves could have European football. If history is any guide, teams of that level that do make it through to the EL can struggle to balance the competitions the following season.+ Wolves
Wolves are great, but they used about 15 players regularly last season, and they’ve loaned out a couple of those with no incomings (bar making some loans permanent). They’ll really struggle to replicate last season’s achievements with European football on their plate. They needed to deepen their squad, not weaken it.+ Wolves

Ryan SessegnonFuture LB - Early 20s Saliba, Prime Sanchez - Foyth
Leggooo
Sanchez plays LCB for Colombia, and Toby could play there too (if he stays)Slight problem is that he is also right footed, so that would be him, Foyth, Sanchez, Dier, Alderweireld vying for one place and no cover for Verts (perhaps Davies).A bit lopsided if you ask me.
Not for Columbia he couldn't.Sanchez plays LCB for Colombia, and Toby could play there too (if he stays)
Quite the achievement that managers wearing Arsenal attire automatically look like they are on the prowl for kids. First Wenger now this guy....I’m sorry but it’s a no brainier for Saliba. Imagine playing for this PE teacher

Your not wrong ?By the time he’s finished with them I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up getting him for less than arsenal offered! ?
It’s the perfect way to replace Toby. We’ve been preparing Sanchez (our club record signing until a few weeks ago) for this for a couple of years. Buying another young talent to grow whilst Sanchez and Vertonghen are the pairing is ideal.Seems like an interesting talent
Would be mad if a raw 18yo was effectively the replacement for a world class seasoned pro
I’m wary just by the fact that Arsenal want him given how awful the majority of their defensive signings have been in recent years
From everything I’ve seen of Sanchez, he’s better on the left. He’s equally as adept defensively on either side, and looks more comfortable playing the ball out when he’s on the left. Just seems to have more options due to his body shape and the way he uses the ball.Slight problem is that he is also right footed, so that would be him, Foyth, Sanchez, Dier, Alderweireld vying for one place and no cover for Verts (perhaps Davies).A bit lopsided if you ask me.
completely forgot about sessegnon lmao, I agree, however we don't know if Poch sees Sess as a LB/LW. Id be more than happy thoughRyan Sessegnon
+ Wolves
My gut feeling is that Wolves will not find it as easy this coming campaign. They are now not an unknown entity where teams will be more prepared for them.Wolves could have European football. If history is any guide, teams of that level that do make it through to the EL can struggle to balance the competitions the following season.
