We need him with his experience, aura etc. Plus love for the club. Imagine him today, and the fear Liverpool would of had. He would bring us to another level. Anyone who thinks difference is respectfully bunkers.
Yeah, this is it. Bale would've scored tonight, I reckon.

Just my own opinion. But he does love the club. Follows every single one of our games x
I remember this story about the cricketing great Viv Richards. In the latter part of his career he was playing county cricket and his club boss said something like "Viv it doesn't matter how you bat, just keep your swagger it will intimidate the oppo and lift our lads" - Bale could do that for us.
Not the only way to get to the next level but one way

Bale ain't coming back. And if he does, we ain't moving forward.

Time to start buying top players with big futures. Not players, teams want to get shot of.

Spot on. Bale doesn’t have any affinity to us, he doesn’t follow our games or give a fuck about us. Defoe said towards the end at spurs he was behaving like such a diva, just deciding to not train etc and AVB would let it go because he needed him on side as without him we were shit under AVB. Why bring a guy back who’s injury prone, coming towards the wrong years of his career and would cost pretty much all of our budget to bring back? He seems to be even more of a diva now he’s at Madrid and I can see why Zidane clashes with him.

Absolutely no way he’s coming back and no way we should try and get him back either.

Zaha is ridiculous price. Bale is ‘do-able’. Areas I cannot discuss. Us signing him is another thing.
I’m probably not reading that correctly, as it feels like a paradoxical statement. “Doable”, but “signing him is another thing”. Sadly my old ass brain isn’t understanding what that means. As on one hand, doable implies that it is a feasible scenario. Whereas whether we can sign him being a big unknown seems incongruous with the former. I is confused. But like I said... my brain is for crap. My Lillywhite bias however, is telling me that this is good news. Maybe. Kinda. Sorta. Possibly. (y)

You know you can get a mix. Lo Celso and Ndombele would absolutely fit that bill, but then Bale is a serial winner who would bring that experience. It's not an either/or situation.

I thought I was in the Trippier thread and I was so confused

Ah, the Gareth Bale thread. It's like a pair of comfy old slippers. Always good to come back to.

He'll be lucky to get a squad number next season at Real the way it's going. He's not going anywhere until the last day of the window as he and Real play chicken. Real are getting shafted...it just remains to be seen how hard.

Mate in Madrid said that their official shop had shirts of everybody (including their reserves) but no Bale

They have history of it. If Madrid want you gone they are going to make it as uncomfortable as they can.

Whoever says Bale back would be a bad thing is kidding themselves in my opinion. We've all been built up in the past to be let down and it's probably a defence mechanism... But Bale at Spurs would be great.

Yes he's not the youngest (30 start of the season), yes he's had injury problems in the past, yes negative stuff has been writing about him ...

But he's a game winner! Will put fear into teams, will give us raw pace that we've lacked in certain games, will face defenders up and try and beat them and has experience now.

Adding Bale to a mix of great young talents mentioned of coming in (Lo Celso and Ndombele) would be the perfect balance.

Come home Gareth, I'll welcome you with open arms.

If we can get him we simply have to go for it - we probably have no chance right now of attracting a 100% world class player other than Bale - he would make a MASSIVE difference.
