Judging by how the team started the second half most of the players were not paying attention.
Made me laugh but come on mate - you can't accuse them of not trying.
Maybe effort wasn’t the issue but was hardly a barnstorming performance reflective of such a talk.

As I wrote in the ratings thread Rose and Lamela were certainly up for it as were some others. Sure they mostly looked out of form, sure there were far too many balls given away cheaply after often real effort to get it but on bad days you can still stand and fight which is what we did. In the end it was that attitude which got us something out of the game and allowed all to go away with the feeling that a corner has been turned
Nothing seems to be registering with Mr Eriksen at the moment though, is he gone?
Bit harsh on Rose but know what you mean. I thought it was hilarious. You shouldn't need motivating
in the NLD
fighting for top 3
Danny was awful in the second half
Give him the benefit of the doubt
perhaps over motivated
and trying too hard.
A last minute penalty save
away from despair and meltdown.
On here anyway
Narrow margins.
That made me laugh.
On a different note, a lot of us underestimate the importance of not playing at our ground. No matter what, a 85000 filled Wembley is not comparable to a 36000 WHL. Just yesterday, the Everton crowd made such a difference to the players.
Saw the home and away stats for this season. We are 6th for home stats and 1st for away. There I say the players have put a shift in and deserve some credit.
Unlike our players who are in the unique position of being fkin sick of it lol. It's the Wembley effect... Clubs are up for playing at Wembley, some might never experience it
