its the only way he will leave. otherwise not only we fail to sign players but also badly failed to shift deadwood for two windows running. Its shocking as it is the only excuse not to sign new players.

I actually wouldnt be too bothered if we extended him a year. Sonny is effectively our second scorer. It would be hard to pin down a third guy good for 15+ goals a season.

Christ we have had some bleak and predictable transfer windows. There was still always a glimmer of hope l by might pull something out of the bag.
Bar maybe the rabiot interest not once have I felt we would sign someone. It’s a bloody good job we are 7 points clear in the champions league race and as it stands in a decent position
But I can guarantee this if we fuck this up and end up playing Thursday night football in our new stadium some serious questions will be asked about going through 2 transfer windows and not spending a penny ! We are Tottenham not Barnet
