lol at Busquet's reaction when Eriksen made that pass.
Haha they were getting annoyed by how good we were

Think he's annoyed but the shit half assed pressing from his team mates but we'll go with that anyway
It wasn't that clear cut really, Moura was moving onto Kane's cross whereas Kane was standing facing Moura and had a player a yard or two ahead of him and another one on the goal line.I thought this was pretty interesting: This first clip is Cillessen's save on Lucas' header. Watch after the play develops and Lucas wins the ball back and shoots for the far post. Kane is waiting for that square pass at the 6-yard box - and he probably scores if he gets the pass.

Now, this 2nd clip is Lucas' goal. The roles are reversed, Kane has the ball on the outside, and instead of going for goal - plays the pass in to Lucas -> Goal

I don't think there was anything wrong with Lucas attempting the shot in the first clip - but I like that it almost seems like Kane learned from that, and knew to make the pass on the 2nd shot, not even 10 minutes later, instead of attempting the difficult shot from a wide angle.
December 17th the draw .....and Spurs will be in it....brilliant
How was he attacking the same space? He was making a typical run that you'd expect a striker in a 4-4-2. Llorente was occupying a completely different area. He moves towards the ball in the end but he is in the position for a deeper cross. Lucas is the free man there, Kane manages to drag three defenders towards him to free up space for lucas. Without that run would of been a comfortable interception for Barca. We actually need to make more runs like that. Kane gets isolated to easily these days.I wasn’t suggesting Lucas did anything wrong, just that he was attacking the same space as Llorente. Ideally, you’d like your strikers to provide options, but the overload works too.
I'd just read Henry Winter's report and thought it was very good, but then read Liew. It was on another plane.Jonathan Liew has got it going on
Different situations entirely. Lucas body was in a much better starting point for a shot than Kane, similarly though the pass was on, its not a simple situation, there were a lot of defenders between Kane and the goal with their number 15 already pressing onto Kane expecting the pass. Wouldn't be strait forward. I mean I think the pass would be the right move, but I'm not convinced it would of been a guilt edge chance.I thought this was pretty interesting: This first clip is Cillessen's save on Lucas' header. I see CSKA are beating Madrid away currently. I presume everyone will spout it was only their B team, right?
Every article I read is on a different level to the rest of them. Truly a talent.Simply the best writing around:
