But that a assumes the growing lights needed to be built before the pitch was down or that we couldn't have had them built in time and I see no reason that should be the case and tidying up outside areas to walk on wouldn't take that long to be safe and functional if not finished.There's way more than that. They only "finished" the grow lights within the last week so no grass would have been down. There is no ground to walk on outside the majority of the stadium. You can see in the building with the high resolution camera's and most area's look half done.
It's all onions of course, but without the safety system issue, I doubt it would look any more done than it does now.
I appreciate there are things to be done and I am not saying if the test event hadn't pitched up some problems we'd be finished but it is not sensible to say, look the pitch isn't even down so we obviously could never have made the 15th, it's daft to point to a situation based on the new timescales as though that's where we'd be if the timescales hadn't been changed.
