Yeah lot of other teams fans are going to have a shock to the system when they realise we barely used those players aside from Dembele last season and were still quality.

That's all well and good but they were quality depth when we needed it. I genuinely don't see how we can expect to move forward by reducing squad quality. We are going to need a minimum of 3 players in to replace those outgoings and will do well to get better quality.

It's all well and good saying we're keeping stuff under wraps but usually something hits the press as things get even remotely close.

Plus thats ignoring the point that Poch clearly wants a new winger and we're unlikely to deliver that.

I think the club is flying by the seat of their pants right now to be honest and is just praying things fall into place once the merry go round kicks in. I really hope I'm proved wrong because we'll have a hell of a week ahead of us.

Nail hit on the head here mate.

You would think we would learn or lesson. But then maybe the intention from our erstwhile chairman is a we tried but the goalposts changed, agent activity Bull Shit outcome to this window by not bloody signing anyone.

Speculate to accumulate is definitely not in Danny Boys shot transfer business model.

It would indeed, as Poch says " more than brave", to not sign anybody.

Lolz! Come on now, stop pretending you know what a business model is.

Levy has the chance to prove us all wrong and actually pull off a deal like this, but the way this is panning out all he is doing is proving all his criticisms to be bang on.

Herc said he believes Zaha is attainable, and for a price that isn’t that bad. But we’re just clearly not willing to push the boat out to get Zaha, are we. Even though Poch loves him apparently...

Don't get me wrong, I'm firmly in the we need players camp but I'm happy for all of those 3 to move on.

Martial not financially likely, as things stand. There is NO WAY we will spunk 80-90m on one player in this window!

Martial

Surely its about bloody time we just move on - it's been obvious for months that we weren't going to spend big on a player. Levy is a coward.

I was too when we had the likes of De Ligt and Sessegnon (when he was still an Lb) as backup targets to replace Toby and Rose!

Currently we are likely to hand Man Utd a quality CB (and possibly Rose too) to save their window (yes Jose is bitching despite signing a £50m starting CM) which as much as I accept Toby has to go just feels terrible. We all know deep down they aren't dealing on Martial either.

Like I said before we'll see but I think all these rumblings about it being a terrible market, the stupid early deadline, liverpool fucking the market and the donna cullen statement are just priming us for it being a shocker.

If not and we somehow get 3-4 good signings in the next week we'll all be buzzing.

Pretty shocking having ITK giving opinions using the words "if we have incomings"...

Last season we fell short and at times some of our players looked knackered and in need of a rest.

IMO we need some quality additions to push to the next level and have the ability to rotate top quality players.

Relying on Siss etc in the 85th minute just does not cut it.
