Thanks for posting it. It almost does.......This pretty much answers all of your questions...
It'll be artificial, if you look, most football pitches have artificial around them. Stops touch lines at getting chewed up by linesman/subs etc. It'll be suitably soft that it won't cause issue. Thanks for posting it. It almost does.......
If the area surrounding the pitch is raised up from the base level to the grass pitch level then is it grass or artificial turf? If grass it will take a pounding from the NFL and other events and look like shit compared to the rest of the grass; or if it's turf then it won't take the same kind of stud as grass and could theoretically be dangerous for the players.
Any idea?
This is the clever little trick that Dan is going to use that Edmonton was alluding to if needed. The ability to bend time.
Good to see you round again.
mnemonic111 on coys: Just been told Mace hand over the keys first week August, two test events in August one with 20000 fans second with 40000.
First home game after International break.
This comes from the club itself so they might be telling me what I want to hear ! Hope its correct.

I met someone yesterday at a birthday party who isn’t employed by the club but is close to DL. I’m not going to explain how he is close but I’m happy to tell the mods who he is and they will understand how he knows what he does. I asked about the new stadium and he told me it would be fantastic but late. Nothing earth shattering but not in line with the above.mnemonic111 on coys: Just been told Mace hand over the keys first week August, two test events in August one with 20000 fans second with 40000.

Won’t be ready for the start of the season and apparently struggling to meet the target of only playing the first 3 home games away. I think there is mileage in the notion we are speaking to the league to see if we can use Wembley again for some period (that is me reading between the lines of what I was told). The post you quoted said it wont be ready till after the international break which is late. Are you saying it will be later?

I would guess there are fewer than 10 people in the world who know where we are with a projected completion date on the stadium - and its not the kind of discussion that would take place outside the club - other than to the NFL and FA.
But doesn't that also work if they're working on the North and South ends at the same time?

I'm still vague on what they mean by complete, does that mean everything done and dusted or complete enough to hold a football match, a pitch, a roof, floodlights and enough seats and turnstyles, what else do you need?
If there is likely to be a delay at the south stand for example, would it not be possible to play with a reduced gate and any Park Lane ST holders could be seated elsewhere until the that end was ready. As an idea it seems far far prefereable to schlepping over to Wembley again and having to ask Richard bastard Scudamore for anything.
