You really cant blame him if he leaves. And the other players as well
Disappointed that we seem to be 'the nearly men' of the league. I don't believe that we need an African nation's national deficit in order to win a title, despite it helping, its not a sustainable way to keep moving forward.
I still believe we don't move the ball quickly enough in the midfield; we don't have the searing pace that Liverpool, or Man City have in the final third. These guys have players who not only have the skill to execute sharp 1-2 combination play, but players like Mane, Sane, Salah etc all are capable 1v1 players, with the exception of Dembele & Son, we don't seem to be blessed with these types. We find it difficult breaking down opposition who set up with a low-block & we seem to also have an issue dealing with high-pressing teams, which was apparent against Liverpool away, both games against Man City & away at Arsenal.
After a chat with my father, I said that he ought to be more ruthless with players, in terms of 'are they good enough to win us a title?' I keep thinking of the likes of Sissoko & Lamela, perhaps a few others who have not reached the heights of previous seasons. Perhaps the Poch is too loyal to players who show just a good attitude. At this level that's a fundamental basic, which shows woefully short of what's required to win a league, or European cup.
Should the worst happen, then I would 100% make Maurizzio Sarri, the no.1 man to approach. Sarri's team play some wonderful football that is exquisite to watch, but its very focused on getting the ball forward quickly. He's got a relatively small release clause; he's worked with a team that hasn't cost the earth & he's improved every one of them.
We are on the cusp, but I think things need to change, just a little, in order to get us there.
Your right we do not move the ball quick enough something that a lot of us have mentioned before but also we are a little too predictable with diagonal balls into the corners and sideways and backwards passing which stifles our rhythm.Disappointed that we seem to be 'the nearly men' of the league. Madrid? Zidane could be sacked this summer or the next.To what Club?
PSG have got their man as have Munich (just announced), Arsenal have theirs, United, Liverpool and City all done and dusted and he won't go to Chel$ea.
So unless Rochdale plan to change manager then i can't see him going anywhere.
It's largely 'the other players' not turning up on these occasions is why we don't win trophies. Maybe if they could be arsed or whatever, they could achieve all their dreams with us. I would blame them for not finishing teams off.You really cant blame him if he leaves. And the other players as well

Yes but while poch will be on a lot of clubs radars I think Madrid would normally opt for a proven track record of success, this is where poch falls a bit short because he hasn't won anything to date.Madrid? Zidane could be sacked this summer or the next.
What is bothering me are Poch's comments about the project going on with someone else. Now we can speculate what he means, but I can only think it is one of three things. He feels he has come as far as he can without financial investment and is sending a "spend or I'm off message" to Levy. He has had his heard turned or he fears that if he doesn't start wining trophies he's going to be sacked. None of these are good to my mind.
Hopefully we can beat Watford next week and move toward wrapping up a top 4 spot. If we can't take 3 points from them, then you can bet the house on us finishing 5th. So despite the disappointment of yesterday, it'd be good to have a "no drama" end to the season and then take stock for next season. If we fail in the next 3 weeks, then we'll all be glad of a break from this bullshit and probably be in for a turbulent summer.
