Mourhino always fines a way to win a trophy....
Must be a costly exercise then.

Not controversial, but it was extremely annoying watching Moses punting the ball past Son and then running into him from about 10 yards away to get a penalty.Nobody can say we're not due a bit of luck in one of these Semis:
Handball by Charvet(?) for Newcastle in '99 at 0-0. Not given.
Goal by Crouch to equalise against Portsmouth in '10. Wrongly disallowed.
Phantom goal given to Chelsea in '12.
No controversy last year but Chelsea were freakishly clinical with their shooting that day. Created about 1 clear chance and scored 4 goals.
We'll probably get something dubious go in our favour at last only for VAR to intervene!
Time to leave one of these games feeling happy for once. Was at the semis in 2012 and 2017, and at the EFL Cup final in 2015. Seen us lose to Chelsea on all 3 occasions, so at least something will be different about tomorrow!

Agree that it was a penalty. I just always find it frustrating that attacking players can just knock the ball past a defender (or more usually a goalkeeper), run into them and get a penalty without any regard for whether they were ever going to reach the ball. From memory it was a forwards tackle and Son went to ground. Cast iron penalty given away by a non defender
I’ve seen all our semi-finals since ‘93 on telly at home. And we’ve lost them all.
So, in the name of Spurs, I think we will all demand you give me your ticket for the game, and you can go back and watch us win, at home on your sofa.
If you don’t do this, you are not a true Spurs fan, you’re just a selfish person
Ok so like a lot of Tottenham supporters Saturday will be my eighth visit to an FA Cup Semi FInal and obviously we are all hoping for a change of fortune from the previous 7:
1993 Arsenal (Wembley) Lost 0-1
1995 Everton (Elland Road) Lost 1-4 Klinsmann (p)
1999 Newcastle United (Old Trafford) Lost 0-2 (aet)
2001 Arsenal (Old Trafford) Lost 1-2 Doherty
2010 Portsmouth (Wembley) Lost 0-2 (aet)
2012 Chelsea (Wembley) Lost 1 - 5 Bale
2017 Chelsea (Wembley) Lost 2-4 Kane,Alli
What memories do others have of these games and which were the hardest to take and move on from
I’ll start off with 93' and 95’
Firstly the Scum at Wembley 2 years after beating them in the Gazza free kick semi
From memory a terrible game that Donkey Adams won late on with a header at the back post from a corner
Can still hear all the Arsenal supporters chanting Hee-Haw on the way out!
My worst memory of the semis by far was Everton 95' at Elland Road
Terrible journey to a shit ground which we had one stand (the main stand on the side) and Everton had the other 3 stands wtf!!
To cut a long story short we were absolutely shocking especially at the back due to Stuart Nethercott playing and after losing 1-4 that was the longest and quietest journey back from a game that I can remember
As far as I can see there is no such thing as your name being on the Cup it’s all about the day and the performance
We need to be up for this Saturday from minute one and let’s put this record to bed for once and for all

who likes upsetting everyone else’s day out to a semi-final.
#givemeyourticket
Yep, I even #’d it, so it’s current and up to date and down with the kids and stuff.
See you all in the FA Cup Semi Final No9 thread
It’s strange, this time last year I was so gutted at the Chelsea loss and the Juventus loss was devastating but this time I’m almost numb because I just didn’t expect us to win, even though I think we’re the better team. We just don’t seem to have ‘it’ when it comes to the big occasion and I don’t know what it’s going to take for things to change.
Same again next year lads?
