Maddison is a number 10 primarily.
Interesting. Cheers
Still wouldn't have thought it would affect Edwards then.

No question for me Edwards does he’s best work around the box and he gets loads of penalties. £5 bet he scores a worldy free kick in first 5 games. Be a bit ironic considering we haven’t scored one for about 2 years.
Think if maddison stays he'll be taking the free kicks.

We call that the Alanis Morissette level of irony. Not exactly the classic definition of irony.
They are wrong.Just seen this on the BBC. I thought Edwards couldn't play as he wasn't in their squad for the first match but maybe I'm wrong?

Canaries on a run
Chelsea v Norwich (BBC One, 19:30 GMT)
Daniel Farke's Norwich, 13th in the Championship and six points off the play-off places, have kept four clean sheets in their last five games.
They are unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions and beat League Cup semi-finalists Bristol City last weekend with a goal from James Maddison, the recent subject of interest from Tottenham. Talking of Spurs, loanee Marcus Edwards is available and could be included in the Norwich squad.
A word of caution though, the Canaries have been knocked out of the FA Cup at the third round stage in the last four seasons.
They are wrong.
“Competition rules stipulate players must be eligible for the original fixture if they are to feature in a replay.“
Same reason Barkley can’t play for Chelsea.Ah right, thanks Hengy.
Idiots.
Sorry, the BBC.

They certainly said that when he signed...
