Excatly, if Poch doesn't trust to bring Janssen on when Kane was playing like he did today, then we may as well sell him now and get someone he does.Where is the Janssen option? 10 for a cracking job of keeping the bench warm. For crying out loud Poch. No one else could do the business today. Give the guy a chance.
Regardless of anything you say, replacing Walker with Trippier is the biggest downgrade we've made since the Berbatov Campbell trade.
Vertonghen my MOTM.
Apart from Modric/Dembele or Bale/7 players or VdV/Dempsey you mean?
Walker's fuckbrain has already cost city points. Like he didn't repeatedly make mistakes and get caught out for us, just go and watch the West Ham game that cost us the league.
Trippier produced more actual product creatively in a third of Walker's time last season.
Trippier is what he is. Walker is what he is. Neither are top class all round good eggs. Both have weaknesses. The way we play fb's will always get caught. But swapping one for the other really wasn't a major deal. We've got bigger problems.
Meanwhile Chelsea won the league with Victor fucking Moses as a RB.
And I don't know what we didn't play KWP. Because given a proper run he could well prove to be better than any of the above.

Tosh! Walker would start for any PL team, except ironically for City; and that's just a reflection of the options they have. You've always rated Walker in defence, but somehow never saw how how much he was a part of our attack. Always pushed opp defences back, which was hugely important for our game, and would stretch the park for our attacks, giving space to our AMs and strikers.Vertonghen my MOTM.

The most simple substitution would have remedied all of this. 48th minute, we are leading, we have been put under no pressure, bring off the obsolete Dier, put on Winks, actually take advantage of Burnley needing to score but utilising the extra space.
The choice to go from 4231 to 343 for no apparent reason might be Pochettino's worst in three years as boss.
Playing with Alli and Dier is like playing with nine players.
Why have a walking central defender deep in midfield when Burnley have eleven players behind the ball?!
And Alli, the worst player to ever been called world class. He can't even control the ball. Completly useless.
Yep we played with no energy save for a brief period in the second half when we should have scored a couple more goals. We starting, once again, so slow as though the first half in a football match doesn't countWe're going to have to seriously start playing with more verve if we're serious about a top 4 finish. 4231 with current personnel at Wembley doesn't work. Sanchez can't get us playing three at the back quick enough
