Can't have been, they were before us, and group H, where we got put was ruled out as an option for them
As the first English team from pot 3 there should have been more options for them than us who came out later I don't like the lack of transparency

Yes - but the team numbers are not determined by the pot - they will be determined after the draw

First game could decide our fait in my opinion. Heavy loss and we're out. A draw or a loss of no more than a goal and I think we've got a big chance of going through.
I fancy our chances though, Dortmund aren't that much to fear as long as we sort out our Wembley form before then. Atmosphere for Madrid at home could be unreal.

I don't think this is official. I have not seen anywhere that has reported the teams position within each group.

Yes. We would have been split from Chelsea, and them from United (for example).

As far as I know - that has not been done yet - because it would be pretty odd for every group to "randomly" come out in the same order as their pots...
It was not done at the time of the draw - so that they can take into account TV, and other logistical issues once all the groups were known.

Not being funny, but both Madrid and Dortmund would have much preferred any other team from pot3 than us.
It was a little strange. Something to do with them not being able to play the same nights as the other English clubs? I have no idea why they weren't eligible to be put in to our group.
Still, as it stands you have scousers convincing themselves that their relatively easy draw ( it's still not easy by the way, Liverpool are hardly an elite side ) means the competition has opened up for them and number 6 is a mere formality...comedy gold!

No, wasn't that, Liverpool were offered D or E, so both sides of the draw
We were allocated to either D or H, again either side of the draw
Question is why weren't Liverpool allocated to either D, E or H
