That is such a shame. I honestly thought this was a huge game tonight and nothing has changed my view on that...they're now 7 points ahead, difficult to haul back.

I think had we won that tonight we wouldn't of looked back regarding top 4 and could of been looking at finishing higher.

Massive opportunity missed. Stressed the importance all week regarding this fixture, not changing my mind just because we lost.

But I tell you what, Sunderland might not be as capable on the break but big Sam can organize a team to defend so expect more of the same on Saturday lunch time with a more subdued atmosphere to boot.

Meh - seriously deflated after that.

We look more dangerous on the counter attack but we spend most of our time having to break down teams in the final third. The 20 v 10 attempts doesn't tell the story. Leicester have had the better quality chances. We need to change our approach because we're a bit flat at the moment.
I don't know if you're aware but you can't play counter attack against a team that sit in and play counter attack...

We could have won it, they could have won it. They won it. I don't begrudge them their win. They were good.
Agreed not overboard yet. Might think differently after Saturday lunchtime. Poch got it wrong tonight.

i officially hate Leicester city. anti football long ball playing ten men behind the ball at all times knobends.
Like I said before, they are scavengers. Route one mixed with a bit of play when they can get it to mahrez and what they do effectively is frenzy on every opportunity they do have and try and make the absolute most of them.

I really hope they fall eventually as I now cannot stand their gobshite fucking fans. Had a lot of respect and admiration for them but now they can totally piss right off. Route one xxxxs.

61% possession
21 shots to their 10
5 on target to their 2
16 corners to their 8

We could have won 21-10 or 5-2.

We did everything but win and Leicester got lucky. They are not the first and won't be the last.

Those are the facts.

Unbelievable. We have lost our way a little. Not incisive enough and creative. Poch needs to look at business in the transfer window to provide some alternative to Kane.

Enough of the carroll experiment. And for FUCKS SAKE: Sign a striker!!!!!!!

If we come out of January without a striker, we will have thrown away a glorious chance. As mad as it may seem, we are not out of the title race. We're also far from certain of a top four finish. Crazy really.

What the fuck are you smoking? They are 2nd in the league on goal differance alone. Wake up, they are on of the best teams in the leauge. They are just doing it differently.

Leicester really were shite. Unfortunately, in front of goal so were we

Dier, Alderweireld, Walker, Eriksen, Kane all shite.

Our final ball lets us down every time. We need someone who can play that final pass and we need someone who can put the ball in the net.

Wish we had Payet.

Been shaking my head in utter disbelief since the goal. I can't understand how we lost that. There's no way that should happen with the way we played tonight and the amount of the ball we had in and around danger zones.

Unfathomable.

I have no idea why we have suddenly started pelting crosses into the box at every available opportunity. We play one up front and never have enough people in the box to meet them.

No one on this SC site thought Spurs would finish higher than 6th this season and even then that was optimistic. Peaks and troughs and enormous growth. Another harsh lesson for our young ones tonight.
The difference between Leicester and us? They have one game plan and it works time and again - and it's horrible to watch -
not worthy of Champions League Footy or all the adulation they receive. It's effective and they play to their strengths - fair play to them but no thank you.
We fucked up big time tonight - and it's pretty obvious we're not clinical enough as a team or upfront. Harry needs competition or a partner.
We'll be there or there about come the end of the season - and that will be a result.
But tonight's result - sickening.

No ifs, no buts we lack quality

Leicester and Newcastle matched us physically and we had no answers

I haven't felt this gutted about a result in such a long time.

Felt like we were on the start of something special, 3 points tonight and vs Sunderland on Saturday would have us in such a strong position. Now we back into a right scrap with a load of teams for the final CL place. Ugh :(:(

We're so defensively solid but we've not got any flair to change a game that goes the way this one has.

Options on the bench are strong, solid hardworkers. No one who will commit a defender, run at someone.

Lack of variation is one of the main reasons we were getting all these draws IMO. Because it's pretty obvious we can't do it by going ahead when we are on top. And we're on top in most games.

It was inevitable that some of the draws we're going to turn into defeats.

We can still get top 4 but we need some luck and a new attacking player.
