What Tim and a few posters on here seem to forget is that after Tim managed to get us knocked out of the cups within a few weeks of taking over, we were playing once a week. Time on the training ground that AVB didn't have and rest for the players makes a huge difference, ask Liverpool and everton next season.
And the problem with playing 2 games every week when he took over was that he didn't get enough time on the training ground to get his ideas across to the players. Yes Timmy did make mistakes in selections but he was also hampered by injuries. During the March games he had Daws and Chiriches out injured and Kaboul back fresh from 3 months or so out and not having played with Verts more than 4 times. In that situation we were going to get tonked. We also had Sandro at CB for another of the top 4 games.
Timmy has shown that he will learn from his mistakes and, given that the only certainties in life are death and taxes, in the absence of a really top quality manager I would rather keep TS than sign another so - so one.
