Started today. Subbed on 61 minutes.
Fucking hell, what was that all about, Milwall fans pelting him he was subbed for his own safety ?
Any idea how he went?Starts today.
Any idea how he went?
Surely he would be an adequate back up for Walker if we can ship out Naughton.http://www.soccerbase.com/players/player.sd?player_id=51188
Seems to have been playing regularly now - although matches stopped for intyernational break. Last match 5 Oct v Leeds (win), next match 19 October v Watford away.
Hopefully McLaren (new manager) will know of him from his England days and continue to play him.
There hasn't been much news of Smith - which could be negative as he's played at Championship level before so I'd hope he would have been tearing it up at Derby.

Wisdom has signed for Derby on loan but it seems he will be cover for Whitbeard(CB) who got injured on saturday
Dropped to the bench.
If that is goung to be the way forward, I'd bring him back to Spurs - he can play both RB and LB so an option if Rose.and.or Fryers are out
For fuck sake.
If isn't good enough for Derby County, he certainly isn't good enough for us.
I am sick of making this point repeatedly, Kyle Naughton is a considerably better right back that Smith.
Every single Smith loan has been plagued by inconsistency and poor form glossed over by the odd gung-ho performance here and there.
Not good enough.
Never has been and never will be.
Time to move on.
I
Have you seen him play ?
Soldado was dropped by AVB a couple of weeks ago. Not good enough for us ?
Yes, I have seen him play whenever he has been involved in any televised/Spurs games.
Are you seriously likening Defoe starting ahead of Soldado for one game, to Smith being dropped yet again for a lower league side?
For fuck sake.
