I would bet my bollocks we don't sell bale. It makes absolutely no sense for them to buy him. He is a ready made Ronaldo replacement for next season when he comes back to united.

They will sign Suarez. They have sold higuain so need a striker rather than a poor mans Ronaldo (which isn't an insult by any means)

In closing, bale will not be at Madrid while Ronaldo is there.

Its rumored that he's signed a new contract at Real.

I think DL values AVB enough to entrust him with the record signings; I doubt he's gonna risk fucking him off with the usual end of window nonsense and leave him scratching on the squad front.

Now if it was 'arry...

Hopefully hes going to pack that up full stop...had enough of deadline day disappointments!!!

We are really not gonna go out and spend £100m in the last week of the transfer window.

a) we sell Bale & replace him with a player
b) we sell Bale & get on with it
c) we don't sell Bale.

c) all the way for me.

To those worried we won't have time to replace Bale: perhaps we've identified targets with attainable release clauses? We were able to move on Dembele very quickly last year because we didn't have to bargain with Fulham at all. If we have 2-3 targets with release clauses close to their actual value, we could pass the extra couple of million on to Madrid in the Bale fee and skip the negotiations altogether. For example, maybe we could bargain Bernard down to £18m or so, but if Bale is going just raise his price by 3m and pay the release clause.

Levy knows Bale is the best player Spurs has had for decades, you think he could really toy with attempting to get away with that one?

There would be carnage.

Am I wrong? Walworthyid just gave me a disagree rating for saying that the ITK says that AVB is a coach not a manager and he is not making the decisions about who is bought and sold.
I'm pretty sure that has come through loud and clear from the ITKs - or am I imagining things?

I quite agree, but it then raises the question - what are the chances of the Madrid players who are available and are wanted by AVB and play in the positions we want to strengthen, being within our wage structure and wanting to come and play for us, Europa League, potential wage cut et al ?

Coantrao is the obvious one. I'm not sure if he would want to come, but anywhere would be a step down after Real. And what other options would they have? A lot of the big clubs have already done their business this year.

Prolly just an incorrect rating.

That's what I automatically assume when I get a negative rating. "I'm brilliant me, must be a mistake!"

Now a little more is right in the world.
Let's face it, they really, really don't deserve Bale one fucking bit.. I will be genuinely ecstatic if we keep him, especially after all the dirty business that's gone on.

Now...I'm going to have some cheese on toast and some brandy and watch True Blood:)

The red X is always gets me too. Disagree is a neutral and Rob changed it so that people could use it without it being taking as aggressive. Dislike gets you a red, disagree the grey. Hope that helps.

But I do believe that ITK has stated that AVB doesn't know a thing about what's going on.

I vociferously disagree with that as well.

According to pleat he does.

He may not have final decision and there are other people (baldini, fruend and levy) involved, including scouts, but he does have a say.

There is precedence...
Depends on timings and availability of players.
If Lamela and Bernard said no, then what, McManaman?
