Mousa Dembele. Part ballerina, part bulldozer he was a man amongst boys with some of the most dominant performances by a player o have ever seen. He was the keystone to those peak Poch years, the best and most enjoyable years in our recent history

So many to choose from but in terms of the player that I was able to see at Spurs from start to finish it's the man in my profile pic.

Favourite player to watch live - Ginola (a ray of sunshine in an otherwise turgid era!)

Favourite player to watch on TV (bit too young to see him live) - Hoddle

Honourable mention - VDV

In terms of what they do on the pitch I'll have to think a bit more, and not that he doesn't produce on the pitch either of course, but in terms of who I love as a person (at least as much from what a fan can evaluate from) it's Son. I find myself smiling every time I see training and other footage of him as he just seems like the nicest guy.

VDV is a great shout for multiple reasons too. Will always love the way he celebrated towards the Arsenal fans with so much passion. He understood the rivalry fully despite not being here for long.

Given this a lot of thought and I've realised it's come in stages.

Glenn was a wizard with feet blessed by Jesus.
Gazza lit up my chubby little face, cos he had a chubby little face too, and he had so much fun.
Ginola was worth it.
Ledley was the warrior King, with Dawson at his side.
Rafa made me so, so happy.
Harry's one of our own.

I can't pick one. I really can't. Aside from those above, what criteria we pick from? I can't do it.

Glenn Hoddle. He made me love Spurs. I actually wanted to be him when I was a youngster.
This is music for the eyes:

Over 35 years of supporting Spurs, there is no way I can pick an out and out #1.

If I use the criteria of who I felt was the best, pure, most talented and complete footballer I've ever seen in a Spurs shirt, then its Gazza.

Ginola, naturally, is very important to me as a favourite. A shining light in an era of darkness; Watching him play, in full flight, was less like football but more like poetry. The sort of player that Pele was on about when he called this the beautiful game.

Van Der Vaart really encapsulated everything that a Spurs player should be. But I curse him for not staying.

Right now, I'd say Hugo. That man is Spurs.

Hoddle was the reason why I support spurs but he left not long afterwards.

It has to be between Hoddle, Gazza and Modric (I guess I have a type) and I can't choose between them I think if I had got into football earlier and/or Hoddle stayed longer I suspect it would have been Hoddle out by himself.

Very honourable mentions to Bale and Ginola.

I would have added VDV if he had stayed a bit longer

I just love footballers that can do things with the ball that very few other people can do.
