Having taken sole charge in two of our most important matches of the season and fronting press conferences I think our No 2 deserves a thread of his own.
I think he's done a fantastic job in difficult circumstances. It's one thing taking charge of a match when the manager is suspended but has worked all week with the team, but another entirely when Conte has been completely absent from the training ground and stadium. He has himself lost a friend in Ventrone, and will have been supporting Conte with the recent loss of his close friends too.
Stellini is clearly well respected by the players too. He's good in front of the media as well, something not often expected of coaching staff. Hopefully he'll raise a glass of red tonight at a job really well done.
As Da Kidz say - put some respect on his name.
