Being behind Pat's goal as usual for the last game of the season vs Leicester City which we won 2-0...and were relegated.

The knowledge we were down prompted a mad celebration though at the end of the game!

My first Spurs away game, Derby v Spurs 76-77 season...we lost 8-2. Arrived late at the old baseball Ground as the Grey - Green coach we were traveling in broke down on the M1, got there just in time to see Derby put 6 past us.

Not a good day out :(

I remember going to a shitty league cup game against Derby County, our only decent player was Ginola. Wanchope decided to mess us up with a few goals.

All I remember is us singing Spurs are on their way to Wembley, followed by we're shit and we know we are, followed by Francis out, a few Ginola Ginola cries, and fans next to me saying we should sign Lee Carsley because he's amazing, yep that's how cack we were. A few of our own fans fighting on the concourse over whether Francis should be sacked, followed by the burger van telling me there is no hot dogs or burgers left and offered me a onion roll for 20 million quid. A year later we were crying mor ewhen Gross was the gaffer

I went to the Stoke away game (as if that was't bad enough) in 2011.

We lost 2-1, several penalty appeals turned down, harsh red card for us. I've never been so frustrated.

And it was my birthday.

Not sure why I watched that, even more unsure why I had to google who that weird looking geezer was who scored one of their goals (turns out it was Mark Nicholls if anyone is interested....nope thought not).

Loss in extra time to Newcastle in the FA Cup Semi Final at Old Trafford. Only match I've ever seen us lose away from home (to be fair, I should say that I've only seen us play competitive games away from WHL on about 5 or 6 occasions in total), and we got cheated by the ref missing Nikos Dabizas' clear handball in the area in normal time. Driving out of Manchester took what felt like forever, and I was a grumpy sod for the whole journey back. Not fun.

That ManC home cup game we threw away from 3-0 up against 10 men. Diabolical.

The League Cup final against Liverpool in 1982 is up there too, 1-0 up, the better side and that **** Whelan pops up and scores with three minutes to go and does that fucking ****y flicky flicky fingers celebration. We then end up losing 3-1 in extra time.

Capital one cup at Bolton.... we got free tickets and got to watch Spurs get pummeled 6-1, mid 90's. Now that has got to be a winner! Or was it 5-1.... we left at 4 if memory serves.

End up having to use a hire car which cost me.
Lost 1:3 Martins scoring twice I believe right under my nose.
Get back to car. Got fkin parking ticket.
Few weeks later get letter from hire car company giving notice of an earlier ticket at same spot (which wardens arent supposed to do) that had gone over early pay date so full £80 owed plus £30 admin charge!!!
Happy fkin birthday.

Was 6-1 but the ref felt sorry for us because they scored a perfectly good goal about 7 mins from the end to make it Seven but it wasn't given

We left at six, missed their seventh!

You think it's a bad atmosphere these days, January 18 1975, Spurs. 1 Sheff Utd 3. Attendance 15,000

It was pouring with rain, the stadium was empty, I was standing in the old Paxton road end, the roof didn't cover the majority of the terracing on that end, and it was almost completely empty, just a few hundred fools standing right at the back with the little shelter that was available. 95% of the terrace was empty!

A few months later I was at the Chelsea home game and there were over 50,000 in the ground, a pitch invasion and massive fights on the pitch before the teams came out, we won 2-0, almost guaranteeing survival in the first division.

I remember watching that on the box, Foy was the ref or whatever the blokes name is, terrible reffing that day. I think we had a ball over the line too
