Quick question on the players who were not released or refused to go to international games for teams like Brazil/Argentina. Are they then free to play for clubs in next games, or was there still something to say they can't play for x days after the last game they would have played for pulling out?
There is some FIFA ruling about not being allowed to play for your club for a few (maybe five?) days after the international break ends but I have no idea whether or not it's going to be enforced.

Following on from the strip show that CR7 subjected us all to yesterday, I have accepted that he has a marginally better body than I do

Depends on whether the International team in Question reports it to FIFA or not.

Then they enforce the 5 day ban.

A decent surprise this morning as Oman beat Japan 1-0 in Tokyo.

Iraq with a decent 0-0 vs South Korea with Son playing all 90.

China are losing to Australia in their Asian World Cup qualifier and I just noticed ex Everton and England u21 defender Tylas Browning is now playing for China. Wiki says he had a Chinese grandfather.

Traore on for Spain. Already thrashing the left side of the Swedish defence.

But only in the beginning. After 10 minutes we controlled him pretty good. He disappeared completely when he switched side.

A really good win for us. Two points ahead of Spain with and a game in hand.

I am so so surprised Isak hasnt been linked to us. I think he is good now but will be a star going forward. I know he signed a contract recently but suspect he will be on the move some time in the future. Id love us to get him in.

Surely, Hungary can't be allowed to qualify for Qatar after this shameful disgrace...

When Sterling scored our first, he was showered with all sorts of objects as he celebrated among a chorus of boos which sounded like monkey noises to me. What a fucking disgrace that country is and the people make it that way.

They've got some nasty fans and I can't see that anytime soon, I mean:

During their Euro 2020 opener against Portugal at Budapest's Puskas Arena on 15 June, homophobic banners were displayed by fans.
Four days later, before the France match, fans marched to the ground with a banner telling players to stop taking a knee to protest against racism. Several France players were also reportedly subject to racist abuse.

Hungary supporters then brought an anti-LGBT banner their game against Germany in Munich on 23 June. There were also reports of anti-LGBT chanting by some Hungarian supporters during the match.

...and I understand they're acting with the full support of their government. Utterly shameful.

They very much are, UEFA's pandering to Orban during the pandemic because he helped put games on was utterly shameful, culminating in what we saw from their crowds during the Euros.

I see Israel beat Austria 5-2.

They are 2nd in the group. I'd love them to qualify, just to see what happens with qatar

Yeah them qualifying for the first Middle East WC would be amazing. Also worried something really bad could happen.
