Just look at this schedule, no player is going to "warm the bench" this season!

He only has a year left on his contract and palace need to sell him if he’s not going to sign a new deal.

Arsenal are in for him, having sold Pepe.

I’m sure his agents have alerted us, along with Chelsea to his availability as he will want to stay in london.

I was unaware and surprised that he only has a year left on his contract. Surely it only gets to this point if the player is willing to move clubs?

We'd all be thinking the same about Harry if we get to next summer and he hasn't signed a new deal.
It's my guess that he'll see out his contract and go on a free next summer.

The mad thing about this season is the league cup 4th round is 2 days after the WC final. We need at least 3 additions with this schedule. 1 CB 1 CM/AM and 1 WF. We've seen with Skipp being injured it leaves you suddenly short in CM

Meh - won't impact us much at all.

We should be in good shape if we make it to the 4th round - in fact, that should be an important game for us.

4th Round will be on, or about, December 20.

For many players - that will be the first real competition in about 6 weeks: Deki, Lucas, Bissouma, Skipp, Doherty, Spence, Lenglet, Sanchez (and Forster).

Group stage ends on December 2 - so add Son, and probably Davies to the squad.

1st Knockout stage ends on December 6, so two weeks for Hojbjerg, Bentancur, and Perisic to be ready.

QFs end on December 9 - so still time for Kane and Dier to be involved on the 20th.

Really, the only players likely to be missing altogether are Romero (covered by Sanchez), Royal (if selected, but covered by Doherty/Spence), Richarlison (covered by Son), and Lloris (Forster would have played anyway). The 4th round will be a good tune-up for the players who had no WC, plus those who were out early, since they will be a bit rusty from the lack of competitive games.

That is an absolutely mental schedule-this World Cup has got a lot to answer for

Arsenal have sold Pepe?

Thought it was a season long loan, and that they were having to sub a large % of his wages on top of that.

Not to mention they are sailing very close to the ffp line as is

Yea I think if he leaves to go to a london club it’ll be arsenal not us unfortunately
Why? Isn’t he the exact kind of player they are moving away from?

also he wouldn’t definitely start for them either so it’s a risk. Plus… he’s turning 30 so surely playing champs league this season woukd appeal rather than waiting another season

The Itk said something has changed and the only thing that can mean is that Palace have decided Zaha is leaving.
What that means is they have to be open to a fair deal and are not likely to play hardball all of which is music to our man's ears.
I don't think Arsenal would be a first choice for him even if they wanted him as if he can get a CL club that's what he'll go for and whatever we think of Arsenal it's clear they're no longer a CL club.
