But I think we need strengthening in other positions more urgently,positions where we need urgent upgrading.
RWB is a total must in the system we play, Emerson has improved,but not good enough.
Centre of defence is still in need of upgrading imo, LWb also can be addressed, Sess has improved but not really good enough imo.

I would take Zaha all day if we were going to address the other positions too, but that is highly UNLIKELY,
So I would stick with the forwards we've got and strengthen the above mentioned.

Perisic is one of the World’s best in his position. Sess is developing and is getting goals and assists. Doherty was excellent for Wolves at RWB and has looked great there for us. Spence is clearly a huge talent in the RWB role. I don’t rate Royal at all tbh but Conte does so further debate on this is ridiculous

Back to the Zaha debate. I think he possess a lot of the attributes that Conte is looking for from Zaniolo

Did Conte actually come out and say he's happy with the RWB?
I haven't seen that anywhere.
Making do is different to being happy.
Maybe he is compromising.

It’s interesting that Chelsea are concerned about the financials for Aubameyang considering the money dropped on Koulibaly who is a similar age. Plus their seeming interest in dropping £60m+ on Gordon!

Perhaps TB has actually realised that he fucked up by not negotiating Koulibaly down, now that every player he is going for the selling club are adding 25% to the fee. He's come in with no real strategy and instead just tried to throw his financial weight around, and it's now coming back to bite him in the arse.

Some on here may play it down and even deny its existence but FFP is real, and does have consequences.

To expect him to come out and state for every position whether he is happy or not is crazy.
