I refuse to get my hopes up on this one. Zaha is my favorite player outside of Spurs and, for personal reasons and footballing reasons, the player I want most this window, but I can't ever bring myself to see Levy paying up this much money for one player.

Doesn’t seem to be anything in the papers tonight...
The Sun, it says its the latest but who knows?

TOTTENHAM are on a mission to land Wilfried Zaha for a cut-price £45million.

Chairman Daniel Levy has not given up on signing the Crystal Palace winger ahead of the transfer window closing next Thursday.

The Eagles believe they are in a strong position — and have turned down an offer from Chelsea of £30m cash plus Danny Drinkwater.

But Spurs would be prepared to offer a further £15m in add-ons, plus a massive sell-on clause.

Tottenham — who have yet to make a signing this summer — are also looking to offload fringe players such as Serge Aurier and Lucas Moura.

Spanish side Real Betis have already made an enquiry for winger Moura, who only signed from Paris Saint-Germain for £25m in January.

This links up to Herc's ITK earlier...

But Lucas Moura?! That makes absolutely no sense to me - he's been our best playing in pre-seaon...

Kick me in the crotch and spit on my neck, that is eye opening news for sure.

Zaha stuff is interesting but difficult to believe with the Moura stuff and the suggestion that Zaha is an alternative to Grealish, which makes no sense at all.

Don’t believe for a second we will get him for 45. Why would they sell that cheap? Would need to be at least 70/80 I would guess. Seems a pretty unreliable article to me based on common sense.

I just can’t see that happening with Moura - wouldn’t make any sense. For high hopes for him this year.

If we sold Moura we’d need another AM, so unless Martial’s coming as well it’s a non-starter
