It's mental. Signed to Liverpool 3 years ago for £8m or so, made 14 league appearances for them, now going for £24m.

When you see/hear things like that, it's why I don't blame Levy trying to sell some of ours like GKN for as much as he can milk. Though Ings obviously has the weird English HG inflation priced attached to him too

No, it really isn’t worth it. We’d get less than half that price

How have Liverpool made almost £40m from Danny Ings and I can't even remember the name of that goalie?!

Kinda throws out the need to sell before you buy to maximise negotiating power logic doesn't it?

Although they just seem to be jammy c@#ts

Have we considered that Zaha May go back to Utd? Looks like no way back for Martial and they were trying for Willian, so there is a definite need there.

And they obviously have the money to throw around.

I doubt he'd want to go back to United. Especially with that miserable fuck in charge.

I'm gonna guess he's Chelsea's Hazard replacement. Wouldn't surprise me if he's sold to Madrid after our window shuts.

It seems odd that there isn't even a thread for him on Shed End though. You'd think if there was anything in it, something would have come out.

EDIT: Actually there's a couple of posts in the random rumours thread but, meh.

If they lose Hazard and get Zaha, I could live with that. He's one of the best in the world currently.

I suspect this too. It's funny how quickly the Marca spin died so quickly on the two Belgians at Chelsea. Suspect they are being given time to source replacements. Guessing their list is the same as ours (Martial, Zaha, Pulisic, Bailey) but they have more need (and funds) to push their best target through. They probably decided Martial isn't happening and chose Zaha for immediate impact/homegrown.

Zaha must definitely be leaving with Palace doing exactly what I believe Breezer said they would, spending the Zaha money in the last week of the window.

I wonder if Zaha to Spurs is actually happening but everyone involved are keeping it very very quiet, and maybe even being given a bum steer that the deal is off.
