Didn’t know where else to put this but did anybody else find it strange how there was zero emotion in Tyler or Neville for either of our goals at the weekend.

I could understand if they had been tap ins but that Sonny strike deserved some fanfare and the Kane one was hit so hard it would have broken Lenos hand if he’d got in the way

Son 1-0

Kane 2-0

Not really sure what you mean? Tyler is awful boring at this stage of his career now anyway so dont expect much emotion from him. It is probably difficult to get excited with less noise in the stadium around them

Neville reacts to Kanes goal as if he's just spunked himself looking at it as well.

Could be right, I was just expecting some kind of emotional reaction to the sheer quality esp from Sonny’s strike.

My scream could be heard from streets away but guess I am biased

What do you expect?
There would have been more arsenal fans watching than spurs - well until the 1st goal.
And of the neutrals, most would be liverpool or Man U fans, and they need spurs to lose.
If commentators and analysts know the majority of their audience are groaning, you are not going to get much more than a 'well , at the end of the day, you have to admit that is a fine goal'.

We're talking about a commentator who quite baldly stated during the match that it was 'nice' to see a 'London' player in the NLD, talking about Saka, in tones that suggested that it was a rare occurrence. Kane has started in FIFTEEN NLDs and been on the bench twice more, so what kind of comment is that?

Tyler has a strong preference for Arsenal over us - you only have to listen to his levels of excitement over their goals as compared to ours over the years to work it out.

Kane has also scored more NLD goals than any other player.

Exactly!

There are three possible options as to why Tyler is the way he is:

1) He's simply incompetent, in which case he shouldn't be commentating.

2) He's horrendously biased, in which case he shouldn't be commentating.

3) He's suffering a disease of the mind, in which case he should be provided with the right care for someone with a health condition, and reasonable adjustments made to his workplace to allow him to work with his disability. In the absence of that, he shouldn't be commentating.

There’s the fourth option, where he’s far too concerned with trying to cram in as many factoids into his inane droning waffle to be bothered about being biased or level about anything. As long as he can tell us that no player born in July during a leap year has ever scored in a North London derby while the moon is in the eighth house and Aquarius is in retrograde, he’ll be happy as a pig in shit.

He’s arsenal through and through. Wrote a book about them. I think Neville was just awestruck.

I think he suffers from all 3......so, he shouldn’t be commentating.

Sky dont hate us - the world is not out against us and do you not think other fans think the same?

It is as if we are seeking validation from pundits for Spurs, maybe i dont see and feel the need but i know we are doing fine and thats all that matters really

Also I think Jamie Carragher came talking about Kane last week or was it the week before i think... we do get a lot of credit and think Gary Neville is also a big fan of us and has been even under Poch

and don’t forget commenting on how expensive milk and bread are these days.... I’m sure that’s next on the list.

I could put up with Tyler’s obvious bias when he was a competent and engaging commentator. He’s totally past it now (to a cringeworthy extent) and desperately needs to be ditched.
