I'm curious to know peoples judgement on this...

IMO Ade behind closed doors away from the public eye had every right to ask questions...

Whilst Sandro, despite his 'right to free speech', knew he was throwing his boss under the media bus...

Do these things compare?

Ah, but you're forgetting the Adebayor is a "horrible, mercenary, ex Arsenal, plays for a contract" player whereas Sandro is a "beast". Therefore in the land of SC Sandro can do what he wants and Adebayor can get abuse for breathing too loudly.

The issue is, would sandro say what he did, if he knew sherwood would be here next season?

He's also forgetting that the manager that Sandro 'threw under a media bus' has been throwing players under the same bus ever since he got the job.

Whereas AVB treated Aebayor marvellously and didn't in any way take the piss out of him.

I don't think AVB handled Ade particularly well but i don't remember him publicly bashing him and Im not really sure how its relevant to my point about Sherwood anyway.

I've never encountered a poll on SC where "Goat" has been a more obvious answer!

In which case no-one can have any complaints if Sandro is not seen again this season?

I still can't believe there are still pro-Sherwood posters on here.

What does he have to do?

So far he's bashed most of the squad publicly and had a go at a couple of club legends who dared to give their opinion on the state of the team. I imagine he's only a few steps away from kicking the crap out of Chirpy in front of the match day mascots. PR dept must be on special bonus overtime at the moment...

1st point : He didn't really have to say much to the media given he put him in the reserves, sort of does the "public bashing" job for him.
2nd point : It's relevant as it shows that most managers do the same thing to a certain degree. Whether it be sticking 1st team players in the reserves or saying they aren't playing well enough to warrant a 1st team spot.

Come off it, that's not even slightly the same as publicly saying 'hes not good enough'. I know you've got an anti AVB bias but you're reaching a bit if you're trying to argue that his handling of the media was on a par with the stuff that Sherwoods serving up...

:) So over the top. He's said a few players either weren't playing well enough or he didn't know enough about them and he's said the Hoddle is entitled to his opinion.

All of this melodrama is borne out of a dislike of Sherwood. I don't think he's the right bloke for the job but I also don't think this picking over everything he says for a negative spin is needed either.

Sandro's now been left out of the last 5 games. (and only made the bench in 2) Since conceding that penalty whilst playing out of position...

I'm pretty sure he would have gone to Sherwood, and obviously got nothing in return.

Don't think he (Sandro) would have taken this decision lightly.

I know who i back. (and it's not Sherwood)

No.

Most managers do not do the same thing.

They really don't.

No good manager (or no manager who isn't bent on sabotage) trash talks to the media about pretty much ALL his players pretty much every day.

I didn't say anything about AVB's direct media handling, I just pointed out that putting a 1st team player in the reserves will get media attention without the manager having to say anything.

Neither does Sherwood.
