any guesses as to who the squad players Levy wants to sell are?

Spursex on VitalSpurs stated that GDS will definitely be going out (said he spoke to a source he trusted), but I'm not sure how reliable his ITK is, and I think anyone could guess that GDS wants out. He came here for first team games, which he needs in order to play for Mexico, but he can't even get on our bench atm and it looks unlikely that he'll be able to play his way into the first team given how well we're playing atm.

One of Chimbonda/Hutton surely is likely to go. KPB's and JOH's futures are uncertain too, esp if we bring in a CM. Not sure if JJ is considered a squad player atm, though I imagine Bentley is.
I think that GDS is getting some holiday time due to his hectic international schedule in the summer. Mind you, if after being the heart and soul of Mexico's success he doen't get a look in then it's only fair to let him go and play - even if it means at a loss, but I doubt it.

The US players are back with their clubs and they had a far more hectic schedule.

GDS is definately not having extra Hols & rest. Certainly not getting any relief from Tommy Thudd

After spending too much time on the beach over the summer, Gio was assured by Huddlestone that the sand that still irritated his bollocks would come in handy for building a quick sandcastle.

Gio should indeed be back by now, but why there is no mention of him from official club sources? Is he still deemed not good enough even to be one of SEVEN subs - while Bentley still is?

TBF, the OS did give him his merited mention.

Gio goes for Gold!

Giovani Dos Santos played a starring role as Mexico lifted the CONCACAF Gold Cup with an emphatic 5-0 victory over fierce rivals and hosts USA in the final.
The forward won a penalty for his side's first goal and scored the second to set them on the way to their first win on US soil in nearly a decade.
Gio was also awarded Player of the Tournament - in what is the central American version of the European Championships.
"I believe this is a great win for Mexico because we showed the pride we have in our hearts today," Gio said.
"This is a huge step for us, and the win injects us with some motivation, confidence and maturity."
Mexico advanced having topped their group before a convincing 4-0 victory over Haiti in the first knockout phase.
They then took on Costa Rica in the semi-finals, needing a penalty shoot-out victory to send them into the final.

Thanks, I noted that at the time too. I meant no mentioning now that the season started and Gio should have been back with the club.
