Now I know he's on loan at southampton but it don't seem like he's getting a lot of game time, is this the case? Because It wouldve been good had he been playing regular for them as they push for promotion

Hope this is thr right place to post, I'm on my blackberry and this new site isn't as easy to get around on here ;)

I think is still at Southampton but just isn't doing enough to get in their side atm

Yeah he is there and not injured as I'm aware, just remembered when they first got him atkins or whatever their managers name is was proper bigging him up,

I think he has ended up playing for their development side, which if that is the case then we should have done all we can to recall him.

Maybe next year we may get him some regular game time, either here (unlikely) or on loan. This season has been a waste for him.

he's playing for this u21s....most soton fans didnt see the point in bringing him in because of what they already had.

Adkins has been sticking with his own players for most of the time that he's been there.

Soton supporting mate said he played one game, did nothing and hasn't played since. Therefore, the conclusion is he is shit

It was a strange move from the off - a player who had been out on loan to plenty of other teams but not pulled up any trees (bit like Bostock). I don't know the full details of his permanent signature in January but I hope it was just a case of 'he's alright, he's free, might as well take a gamble.'

I wasn't that impressed with him in his appearances for us - not pacey, technically quite good but a bit slow in the mind and one footed made him very predictable, and he didn't have great strength so he was easily brushed off the ball and out of the game.

He's still young and with a full pre-season who knows, but I doubt we will see that much of him in the future

I remember at the time that he didn't want to go out on loan but the club insisted.

Maybe he went there with the wrong attitude and that hasn't really helped him.

Suspect we might have been making sure his loan wasn't an issue that stopped us making other signings (as you are only allowed 3 loans, and 1 from each club - so theoretically he could have prevented us loaning say Krasic).

For the fee we paid for him its a no lose signing. We'll probably sell him to a Spanish second division club for a few £100k overall profit.

I actually thought he looked alright in his UEFA cup appearances.

If the aim was to get him game time then Southampton was a weird choice. They were in the top two but had been on terrible form for a long time. They weren't really going to risk a young, inexperienced playmaker at the expense of their promotion aspirations. They also already have Alana who is their best player, alongside Lambert, and does a similar role.

I guess he had a chance to work his way into their team and hasn't done so.

Iago...didn't he go to Stratford-Upon-Avon to wear tights and prance about in Shakespeare plays?
