jacob wasnt happy with mcginn (nsfw!)
Who the fuck is this dude?
Fair play on the “where are you even from Mcginn you sound like a weak ass pirate” line that was pretty funny to be fair.

Agbonlahor and Barton should be put forward every time people say "Ex-players should be referees / in control of VAR"
I think this is more due to him being a ‘banter pundit’ who spouts random narratives rather than what he actually thinks / believes.Agbonlahor is quite possibly the dumbest person on tv and radio. Contradicts himself on a daily basis.
I’ve just had to watch it back as I thought it was a nailed on red when it was live, watching it back again absolutely no doubt and I’d say it’d probably have been a red twenty years ago as well! It’s also pretty standard for every generation to chuckle at younger generations with things like in my day, lad, that would never have been a foul ,or in my day we were a bit tougher etc.
I think that’s the problem these days though, there are too many ‘pundits’ because Sky/BT/Bein etc have slots to fill pretty much every day, whether it be some ramblings for half an hour about a game the previous day or studio comms for the farmers league cup.Agbonlahor is a classic example of ex-pro pundits exaggerating their own careers after the fact and manipulating history. Him, Barton, Sturridge, Walters, O'Hara, even Jenas. All had good careers but were decent players at best. The way Micah Richards talks about his career you'd think he was the original Van Dijk.
Like them or hate them, the likes of Keane, Wright, Lineker, Shearer etc at least reached the top level and deserve a bit of respect.
Don’t give them your eyes and ears. I turn it off. BBC is just as bad on the radio with Sutton and Savage. Listen to music. It never fills your head with shit.I think that’s the problem these days though, there are too many ‘pundits’ because Sky/BT/Bein etc have slots to fill pretty much every day, whether it be some ramblings for half an hour about a game the previous day or studio comms for the farmers league cup.
Too many spaces to fill now and in this era unfortunately too many people think their opinion is a valid one.
Just another dude making money from people clicking and sharing his vids.who is this twerp?
SC should do a matchday thread watch along with 100 plus people all screaming over each other. Would be amazing content.Just another dude making money from people clicking and sharing his vids.
With the help of AI, all we’d hear is a cacophony of “****” and “legends.”SC should do a matchday thread watch along with 100 plus people all screaming over each other. Would be amazing content.
You got close with that I think.I think that’s the problem these days though, there are too many ‘pundits’ because Sky/BT/Bein etc have slots to fill pretty much every day, whether it be some ramblings for half an hour about a game the previous day or studio comms for the farmers league cup.

It is daft when you put it in the context of Romero's red and penalty where he actually got the ball and was sent off because the follow through was deemed too heavy. So what Gabby is saying that we should encourage players to go full force, with no intention of playing the ball, becauase its only a yellow...
So just a free for all.....
Fucking hell lol
I stopped watching build up, half time and post match a long time ago. Really only switch on at kick off, off at half time and back for the second half. I'll occasionally listen to some analysis like Carra and Neville on MNF or the guys on MOTD. Other than that it's a no go as I know what Roy Keane and certain others will say.You got close with that I think.
Too many slots to fill and too many boxes to tick. So of course, the quality will suffer. And anyway, some pundits aren't anywhere near as bad as the hive have the horn for making out.
I think people expect too much from pundits and for me, it's fucking tiresome when, in the match thread or whatever other thread it happens in, to read people crying about the pundit, when actually right across the board, almost every pundit gets often unfair stick and it's as tedious as my going on about it
When you decide to watch a game, surely you know, going in, that the punditry will range from insighful to bad. Week in, week out, the same pundits, the same people, the same moans. I honestly don't understand what people hope it'll achieve.
As boring as my going on about it might be, at least it's occasional and not several times a fucking match
And one last thing occurs, seeing as you know so much about football, why do you need the punditry to agree with your thoughts? Just watch the game and dismiss the waffle
Someone posted the 2 Robbie’s section on us in the pundit thread. Warnock was on and he said it was so obvious he was trying to do him. He said it was the kind of challenge that’s a red all day long.Agbonlahor often criticises players for poor behaviour etc, yet at the tail end of his career he became a lazy overweight player - he forgets that
You got close with that I think.
