Morning, that City fan's husband, good to have you on board, dude

not many clubs in England win trophies. They do have a point. We talk a big game but until we start winning trophies we're irrelevant. This is the source of bizarre vitriol that some opposition clubs fanbases have with us, we talk big for winning fuck all.
Also how sweet would it be to knock these twats out of the cup.
This might come as a shock but this thread is about others talking about us..who cares about being talked about, i relevance for a football is only achieved through winning titles and trophies.
not many clubs in England win trophies.
Since 1996 the FA Cup has been won by Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City most years. Wigan, Portsmouth and Leicester the exceptions. Even then, Man City and Chelsea were losing finalists. Same in the Premier League since that began, with Blackburn and Leicester as exceptions. 2nd and 3rd place is usually one or two of the four others.
Since 2009 - the one after we won it - the EFL Cup has been won by Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City or Chelsea 13 of the 15 years. Birmingham beating Arsenal the hilarious stand out, and Swansea beating Bradford in a match I don't even remember.
Yes, Spurs should win things... but English football is dominated by the same names year after year after year, and two of them have been playing with unlimited funds for most of this time period.
You sound like an Arsenal fanwho cares about being talked about, i relevance for a football is only achieved through winning titles and trophies.
It's actually them that's irrelevant and they don't even realise it.
Nobody cares if Man City win anything because they used cheat codes. It's almost like the competition they won just evaporated.
I hate it when Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool win anything. Man City are just about worth a shoulder shrug.

- For what it’s worth I think spurs are a repugnant club, you might disagree.
- Hopefully spurs continue to achieve the sum total of fuck all (no change there) , Ange fucks off and you are consumed with your debt and go bankrupt.
- Ange's record in the Champions League is terrible.
His first season his Celtic side got knocked out in all 3 tournaments and last season they finished bottom of the group.- Asking on behalf of my husband who is a Spurs fan….any similar online forums for Spurs fans that aren’t total cesspools?
- They've got to be the most pointless club to ever exist, right? Even 20 or so years ago when we were languishing and Spurs fans were giving me shit I could come back that we'd at least won the league in the past half century.
- It's absolutely mind boggling that they've been there or about the top of the league for decades and have won absolutely nothing of note. They've spent nearly as much as anyone (but never as much as they had available, mind) and had some genuine world class players come through with nothing to show for it. Imagine being in a position to trot out a side with Modric, Kane, and Bale all in their prime and failing to do so?
They're the footballing equivalent of a handjob. Maybe they served a purpose a long, long time ago but they're certainly not relevant today, and everytime you come across it you're left both unfulfilled and sorely disappointed.
But, congrats on the cup in 81 Spurs. Just think if you'd won it 10 years later the internet would've been invented and you coud've read about it there.- SO SO SO Spursy recently! Got tonked by Brighton, yet even at 4-0 they still could and should have got something from the game!
- Norf Laandan in mourning today with plenty of 'Blads" and "Fams" crying in their cornflakes.
Get fucked you premature cry babies. The season ends in May, not December.
Try not to hit the vinegar stroke before Xmas you ****s.- Spurs give to club football what England give to the nation …..fuck all
- Well done Ange for putting that hack in his place about Dier. Hopefully over time these no marks will be banned from press room.
- They were always a decent attacking side with proper support, first English team to win a European trophy, they won the first ever UEFA cup in the 70s (europa league today) won it again in 84. We won the lottery and got lucky, god knows where we would be without Sheikh Mansour. Don’t forget pre 08 we last won the league in the 60s like them. They were terrible in the nineties but you know what? They did win the cup 10 years later in 1991, and were record breakers at the time with 8 fa cups. They have a loyal fan base and much prefer them to Arsenal & Chelsea to be honest.
- Timo Werner inbound on loan from RB Leipzig.
The offside machine!
If Ange can get a consistent tune out of him, he's some manager.
What a come-down from Kane - and Son.- we really need to sort out a laughing emoji instead of a like button.
Timo Werner
'I've joined a very, very big club - I think it shouldn't be too bad to say i've come here to win titles '' (BBC)- It's not really weird at all.
Werner has always been an increidbly hard worker and fast as fuck. That's the two most important things for Postecoglu, he'll do loads of defensive work and pressing, and then he'll be able to counter when the ball is won high up.
They've got a good squad player for £15m, who could be an absolute steal if Postecoglu can bring back his confidence in front of goal like he did with Son and Richarlison
Yep, we should learn how to be less repugnant like city
Yea and don't check the Dragusin thread from a couple of nights ago.....Morning, that City fan's husband, good to have you on board, dude
They forget they cheated their way to success. Here's hoping the 115 charges come crashing down, with titles stripped and they're booted out the league. GrrrMy god what a bitter bunch. They would still be fighting in the championship if they didn’t have their billionaire owners. Self entitled pricks now!
If you cut it down to the last 10 years. Of 30 domestic trophies apart from City, United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool only one other club has won a trophy…….Leicester with League and FA Cup.It actually demonstrates the impact of huge money owners as well - United, traditionally the high flyers, have fallen away as Liverpool, City & Chelsea steamed past powered 100% by a cash-burning furnace. United have fallen away, not spending the same sort of money, but they've also remained within the rules, where at least two of them clubs that have scooped up all of the silverware have done it by overspending, massively.
They can bleat on about winning more trophies than anyone else but, in truth, they bought those trophies by breaking the system with overwhelming amounts of money - they've skewed the value of players and wages and the expectations of fans, it's bought a toxicity to the game and while their fans enjoy the victories, they really should wind their necks in and know that the only reason they haven't had huge punishments is because they broke the rules so many times.
Six different winners in the last eight years isn't too bad thoughnot many clubs in England win trophies.

As much as we love to hate them, do Liverpool deserve to be in that bracket? It actually demonstrates the impact of huge money owners as well - United, traditionally the high flyers, have fallen away as Liverpool, City & Chelsea steamed past powered 100% by a cash-burning furnace. Chelsea are in the city bracket for me. I hate them but when they win it's largely irrelevant, it's not real and they don't have the fan base like the other clubs mentioned.
Nah, United created their own success organically.United were doing the same before Abramovic came along. Now they're both firmly where they belong.
