The unprecedented line is so very wrong. Thing is VAR has introduced new ways mistakes can be made. In that sense this was a different mistake compared to any other because it's one where VAR didn't communicate the decision. That doesn't make it unprecedented, it's still a bad call based off miscommunication. There have been plenty of those situations over the years. It's just now there's another factor with VAR just as there was when they introduced a 4th official or when they had someone stand on the touchline near the goal.

In the good old days *shakes fist and shouts at the sky* it would have simply been a blown offside call. Unfortunate but understandable human error.

Now technology has been introduced, humans are apparently infallible. LOL.

This panel voted 3-2 against a second yellow , well we know that players
and coaches are quite happy with professional fouls to stop attacks , reckon we can guess who the three were.

The panel has five members, made up of three former players and/coaches, plus one representative each from the Premier League and PGMOL.

Just got sent a link by a Liverpool fan I know and it turns out the premier league independent panel have ruled that Jota’s second yellow shouldn’t have been given. They voted 3-2 against the yellow. What the actual fuck?! (This is true btw, just been released - they also ruled that Aston Villa’s 2nd and 3rd goals should’ve been ruled out…. Brighton should probably ask for a replay).

Anyway, he carried on saying that there will probably be more stuff each week coming out about other decisions the officials got wrong in this game for the next 3 years. He finished it with ‘could Spurs be any luckier ffs’

I sent him the Virgil tweet.

Carragher knows for a fact this has never happened before? Listening to the frantic communication, it wouldn't surprise me if this has happened before and we are unaware of it. There have been some strange VAR decisions in the past.

EVEN Liverpool fans conceded the second yellow was a yellow. They’re all going to forget they said that now and kick on with conspiracy #4

McManaman, Owen and Phil Thompson plus John Bishop as representative....... Owen voted against as he was too busy tellinh everyone about his awards to notice the question.

It’s going to be hilarious if we turn Liverpool over at Anfield later in the season as almost every Liverpool fan is convinced it’s going to be some 8-0 revenge result. Would love it even more if it’s a last minute penalty win for us.

We’ll beat Liverpool at Anfield later this season, it’s nailed on. Btw, Luton isn’t shit, it’s not a massively dissimilar area to Tottenham. A lot of good people in that town. ( council swap from Stamford Hill when I was 6 in 1975) .
Big test for us

The toxicity online and on social media that this mess has caused is huge and so so sad.
We live in times where people just want to be outraged and Liverpool fans are always up for that.

But its the wild conspiracies from people who seem to be quite respected that I find the most worrying.

They will start with 1 thing but when that gets disproven they will quickly move to the next thing.

First it was cause the refs and VAR had conspired to fuck Liverpool over.

When the VAR recording got released, they switched to conspiracies about the VAR ref being banned from Liverpool games.

Despite them requesting that!

It goes way deeper than that. Stockley Park is a 15 minute city

Only Luton forum I could find was the Luton Town Forum on ProBoards.

Seems like they have about 3 members and still no match thread.

If anyone else knows a site, I'll happily go look

>>>Looks a good menu. I would be tempted by the "sharing platter", although being a pig, I would have it for two, rather than the four that they suggest.
