  • Not a single soul outside of North London gives a fuck about it. If I'm asked to name the top local derbies in England, you go manchester, merseyside, tyne and wear, Birmingham, sheffield before even considering North London
Lol nobody thinks Man City vs Man United is one of the top local derbies. Even United see Liverpool as bigger rivals. City fans can’t seem to understand that they’re a plastic club in a false position. Nobody really sees them as one of the big clubs.

They're a funny old club, City. I can recall them getting ~30k gates when they were in the third tier, and yet they struggle to sell out some of their CL games today. All the recent success doesn't really seem to have translated into much additional support.

They have really cheap ticket prices by comparison to other clubs too. It’s weird they don’t get higher gates.

I'm not a fan of violence at all, let alone over something like football but bloody hell, I'd love to see some proper blokes windmilling their way through that bunch of twats.

So considering these wallys all sit in exactly the same block of seats, it’s safe to say the whole ‘ultras’ thing is club sanctioned ? 😂

Stat a few years ago was that there is no fixture in premier league history that has more goals than arsenal Vs spurs.

It is defacto the most exciting derby in the country.

They have a new ticketing system involving a ballot for members lower down the food chain so they are complaining about getting split up now .

Have a mate with a season ticket there unfortunately

This IQ-challenged, parochial muppet is the type of person who doesn't understand that there are other human beings on the planet that watch the PL. And clearly, is a plastic. Probably started supporting City in the past 12 years. So, thinks their international brand is up there with UTD, Pool, Arse, Chelsea, Bayern, Madrid, Barca, etc. They're not. They still struggle with international support. So, to them, the Manchester Derby is what they think is the biggest derby in the UK (including Celtic/Rangers). Whereas in reality, the rest of the world who follow the PL, sees the North London Derby, along with Manchester, Merseyside, and a lot of the general london derbies as big games. If they think that anyone outside of Birmingham would give two flying monkeys about Villa versus Birmingham, and that is somehow bigger than Arse/Spurs, they are more than a few sarnies short of a picnic.

Arteta asked the club to find ways to support the fledgling Ashburton Army as a means of improving the atmosphere in the Emirates.

The club were a little uncertain at first, but Arteta insisted.

Apparently, he felt a real affinity with this bunch of man-children, all dressed in black, who love nothing more than jumping around like an idiot to draw attention to themselves...

I actually watched (some of) this video, and it definitely confirmed for me that the whole FanTV concept is the worst thing to happen to football since Arsenal killed our parrot.
It’s funny as fuck watching the cut bits afterwards, the crushing disappointment from the gooners when we equalise, twice...but I repeat, I cannot understand why any adult would even contemplate watching that drivel whilst the match is going on. It would be like purposely going to stand next to the most irritating prick in the pub for the entire game.

He forgot about Bristol Rovers vs City, Didcot Town vs Oxford City, and the Millwall vs Hank's American Car Wash XI derbies.

All widely acknowledged to be bigger than the NLD.

They finish above us for the time in years and they're suddenly cemented in as elite again.

We have a terrible season once (I remember them having one of those themselves recently) and we'll struggle get top 8 from now on.

Hope Oil FC absolutely f'ing ruin them in two weeks.
