United fans are always my favourite to read because of their sheer arrogance going into every single match. Should be a doozy.

That second half was almost as pathetic as the Anfield one. Spurs were average to decent at best and we made them look like world beaters. An actual good side would massacre us.

Multiple fecking times where we literally let their players walk past several of ours. For that second goal, Dalot sees the man over there receiving the switch of play and literally just fecking stands there and lets him do what he wants with it.

I’m scared what will happen when we come up against someone that will play to all our weaknesses.

Should have been 2-0, 3-0 up after the first. Second half was poor from us.

We hammered them first half and should have been 2 or 3 up including the most obvious penalty you'll ever see. Yes, those decisions do swing games.

Spurs are nothing special but we need to address why we rolled over in the second half, mostly down to Mount's usual disappearing act and Rashford being hopeless.

If we could actually finish our chances it would help...

How can a coach who’s been here for a couple weeks, spent less and lost his best player look infinitely better than you?

Should have been 3 up at half time, did not come back out of the dressing room. Rashford out of sorts, Antony makes Dan James look like Robben and it turns out Fred was our best midfielder.

Both goals were very preventable but still Spurs deserved to win.

Bruno can feck off....he is so shite....should be no where near the armband....Rashford is the only player we would get a decent haul for.... I wouldn't miss him...even if he was on the left today he would of still been wasteful, he's a lazy player and tries to do too much.....sell Antony, refuese to work on his game which is obvious, Pelli deserves a start.

Should of bought Maddison instead of mount

Tottenham had great support. Old Trafford will not be the same thanks to incompetent management. The lack of clear cut decisions is going to cost us in the long run with this ongoing circus.

Disappointing, frustrating to lose and not score against mediocre Tottenham outfit.

The Spurs hype is so over the top. They weren’t even that good.

We take one of our chances and we win that game. Goals change games and Spurs getting the lead completely put the game in their favor. On another day we get a penalty/Bruno doesn't miss a sitter/Spurs don't get a ball deflected perfectly into a player's path/Antony's shot goes in/Martinez doesn't have a shocker. A lot of things could've gone our way but didn't. It happens and we've lost games because of it before.

The early yellow cards against us in the first half took the 'fight' out of our midfield for the rest of the match.

vomit:

We were okay for about 35 minutes or so.. the yellows weirdly rattled us. Missed a few sitters.
And naturally Spurs end up scoring first. Gifted them another.
Everyone was awful in the 2nd half.

A better team would have shredded us to pieces. We are lucky they no longer have Kane.

I mean we had 22 shots and didn't score. It's pretty clear where our issues are, and have been for a while. Tottenham didn't deserve to win really and that handball was an absolutely atrocious decision by the referee and VAR.

Ten hag being shown up by spurs manager who not only outdone him tactically but actually has implemented a new style without the excuse of it being a lengthy "process".

We weren’t good enough but We lost against something else than Tottenham. I’m just empty on emotions when you know before game how We are going to be treated by referees, the FA and VAR.

50-50 game, a bit unlucky. We were very unlikely to be in contention for the title, this will still be a fun season!

It warms the heart to hear Utd fans complain about referees after the Ferguson era. You used up all your free passes you bellends, time to suffer like the rest of us!

So unbelievably lacking in self awareness aren’t they, the decision at Wolves isn’t even a week old, but they make out officials treat them badly.
Exactly, var and bad refs are the only reason they’re not on 1 point.

A few there mentioning handball on Romero, for me 50/50 depends on ref but the tackle on him by Martinez 2nd half was also a pen. Brentford was given one for something similar last week. He didn’t win the ball and kicked the leg of attacker.

Did you see the one Brentford got today?

Actually I read their forum pre game and I’d say a good majority predicted we’d beat them and they all said they were crap against wolves, it surprised me but yea they’re actually a moany bunch atm

A Man U Einstein on Rashford: "he's a lazy player and tries to do too much"

I have never met a lazy person that tries to do "too much" personally.

Most united fans I meet are alright but they always have a condescending level of praise for us so fuck em.

The lucky deflection that went to our player for the first goal sort of misses the point that Sarr moved quickest not to mention the other half a dozen times the deflection went the other way.

It’s quite an apt description tho if you think about it, he stands around sulking pretty much all match, isn’t interested in any sort of pressing or hold up play, never works hard for the team, but as soon as the ball comes his way he pulls his finger out and does 15 step overs and tries ill advised shots and dribbles from tight angles.

Arsenal Mania
  • They're probably an even easier 6 points than last season. We'll outscore them something like 6-7 to 1 across the 2 fixtures. Without Kane and the spectre of him scoring some worldie out of nowhere or getting his trademark bullsh*t penalty, they have absolutely nothing to trouble us. We could play Holding and beat them.
  • Sp**s still will need to fight to finish 7th, but there was a Bissouma sighting for those who wrote him off last season.
  • Sp**s looked even worse in the first half but Utd have just let them do what they want in the second.
Sp**s are actually poor, that’s their level. Can’t see them making top 6 for a while.
  • Neither team can defend
  • Tottenham defense is a joke lmfao
  • Madders having a mare under the lights here
  • Sp**s is missing Kane, Richarlison is such a poor player
  • I can’t wait to see what Martinelli does to this Sp**s team. Ange leaves their left side so open.
    Pathetic coach
  • You really don’t like Ange do you?
No. The premier league is the ultimate in football. You shouldn’t get a top job for winning at Celtic. A disgrace to proper managers who work their lives in the lower divisions.
  • Yeah. Not sure about this.
  • Yeah but you should get even bigger job based on being peps mate and never managed a team.
  • Our midfield will absolutely make them look relegation fodders
  • Worst Utd side EVER.
Worst Sp**s side since the early 90’s
  • they are playing proper Swiss league level at the moment ffs
  • Sp**s don't have a hope. Will be lucky to get into Europe
  • Maddison. Another example of AM rating awful players.
  • So bad that the concensus will be, wow these teams can really attack.
  • Absolute losers in that Sp**s team
  • how are you letting Sp**s toy with you like this?
  • Bissouma and Maddison excellent
  • That was beautiful from Sp**s
  • Sp**s are actually toying with United here, how can they be so bad? They look worse than last season
  • Sp**s allowing Maddison to play as an actually straight up 10 is so refreshing in the modern game.
  • Udogie could be interesting player for Sp**s even tbo his defending questionable. Sarr look decent
  • Sp**s are toying with title challengers United
  • Bissouma really looking great again.
  • Bissouma is a top player
  • Ange's style of football in full flow 🔥
  • Bissouma bossing the midfield area
  • Bissouma is coming Casimero
  • Angelballs looking good
  • Casemiro is getting trolled here
  • Bissouma having one good game after million years & people losing their ****
  • He wasn’t favoured by Conte. He was excellent in their last game too.
  • They’re letting a poor Sp**s give them the run around.
  • was just thinking "who is this fat bald guy wearing 14 for united" and it's ****ing Eriksen
  • Wayne Erikson
  • It's a bit annoying but I reckon Sp**s are gonna be really good to watch soon under Ange. Whether that translates to success, I mean probably not in terms of a league title or anything more than CL qualification that's probably their ceiling.
  • Ange's style of football is very impressive. Weird to see a Spuds team playing on the front foot
  • Not really, they usually are an attacking side...it was the last few years of watching them to try and play defensive that was weird, they can't do that at all.
  • Maddison is looking a real good addition to Sp**s. Ange has them playing positive football so I'd imagine they'd be happy.
  • Very matured performance from Sp**s here, their ball retention and defending via possession is really good to watch.
Looking balanced and well organised already, more so than United thus far.
  • Maddison started playing well as soon as we started ****ting on him
  • Maddison and Bissouma destroyed Utd
  • Haha, in the face of the Ange doubters
  • Champagne stuff from Sp**s
  • The only champagne about that was Maddison ball in the build up, is a cross that scoffed before Martinez kicked it in.
  • Watching Madrid.
Fair play, Ange has had me over a barrel.
    Scumbag.
  • That's not Madrid in the white shirts, that's Sp**s
  • Sp**s been good but not perfect
  • Sp**s showboating 😭
  • Media gonna be waxing lyrical about Ange's style of football and Madders for the next week now.
  • First time I’ve actually moderately enjoyed a Sp**s game in years without dozing off.
  • Normally Sp**s winning would annoy me, but that absolute scrotum that is G Nevs having a breakdown makes it worth it.
  • I've got to say Bissouma looked pure class yesterday. Great press resistance and a wall in front of the defense. We should of signed him last summer
