Arsenal fans I know have said they would rather we both lose our respective finals than both win. Was slightly surprised as for them it means CL qualification on top of the actual joy of winning a tournament.
The idea of winning the CL ahead of Arsenal. It's crazy they'd rather both didn't win because it'll be less damaging for them. If we win, If we bloody win the CLMate said something similar. I don't get it. Really couldn't give a fuck what other teams do as long as spurs win.

Because it's the one trophy they couldn't get during their glory years. Would trump anything Wenger got for them. I think that's the way they see it anyway. Would leave them and City as the only teams in the top 6 who would not have won it.

Still don't agree with that type of thinking. Just pettyness. Cutting your nose off to spite yourself. It's not just arsenal a spurs mate agreed with him if it was the other way around.
They were in the minority though. Load of arsenal mates congratulated me on weds. I congratulated them yesterday.
Nice Chelsea reaction lol.

Had a peek on an Inter forum out of curiosity. Some of them are really hate us for some reason:
"Spurs are a disgusting club. We should be ashamed for being a mere catalyst for their way to the final. No, we wouldn't do better out of groups, we would've been knocked out by Dortmund. But that's not the point.
Thing is, they are a disgusting club, and we are at fault for this great disaster in football history.
As for the final, fuck it. It's not worth watching it.
But if spurs win, don't even watch football ever after. It would be the end of the Football World."
"This is the longest streak of not celebrating any trophy for either finalist. Tottenham last won a trophy in 2008, Liverpool last won a trophy in 2012. That's 18 years combined. I cannot find anything longer. Leverkusen's streak was like 8-9 yeras before they reached the 2002 final which was probably the longest streak before this one.
Such a let down. Ajax in the final, especially vs Barcelona, would have been historic. This is just a bad parenthesis."
They're probably just salty cos we knocked 'em out but I don't get why some people are so keen for these "historic" clubs to reach the final. Ajax would've been a great story, sure, but it's a bit fucking boring if the same teams who are part of a select group of "elite" clubs always win.
I shouldn't give a fuck but it really shows the gulf in class.
If they visited this site after their result on Tuesday night, they'd have seen pretty much unanimous praise for not just their result, but the manner in which they achieved it. Even during the game itself, it was nothing but praise & admiration for the speed of their play, the movement, the desire they all had.
Many were even saying they'll deserve to win the CL, and their performances & consistency deserves something.
Fast forward 24 hours & look at them in comparison.
An office gooner says it'd be the "darkest day in the history of football" if we were to win, and I quote, "their" trophy.
The whole of catholic Europe think like this mate. There was a Portuguese lad at my last place of work, made a crack about Harry Kane playing for a Jew team.Wtf is their problem with us?!!!
The jewish club bollocks again?
Schools haven't taught anything, or anyone, properly for decades. The whole of catholic Europe think like this mate. There was a Portuguese lad at my last place of work, made a crack about Harry Kane playing for a Jew team.
Maybe the Hennessey incident is a true indicative, and not just bollock. Maybe we don't teach recent history properly in schools anymore.
As your spelling of properly provesSchools haven't taught anything, or anyone, propery for decades.
