It doesn't help the atmosphere when the club are handling out bans to fans for "Persistent Standing" I also think a lot of our fans are quite reserved in comparison to the teams further north.

There's too many people that are either tourists or just too fucking miserable to sing. Honestly can't see it really improving.
Thats just modern football I'm afraid.
A lot of the working class have been priced out of attending.
Its the same everywhere, not just Spurs.

Based by the amount of accountants who follow us (this site has hundreds) it's not a surprise ...

Im going to be honest here - I dont sing as much and im in the East upper just above the away fans. I find the songs just meh, when I go to away games though it is a better atmosphere and I do sing. Not sure why that is, perhaps its the siege mentality in me...

Todays game was hard work, really hard work.

Some of the people in North Upper give you the dirtiest look if you even dare try anything louder than a polite applause.

Worst thing is a lot of them are ST holders because they've been there for most games.

I hate my block if I'm honest, there's a few people that are ST holders and try but it's just shit.

Just a little aside, at the station a couple of West Ham fans were taking the piss and laughing at the Spurs fans on the other platform when a Spurs fan called back "are you in Europe"? and they lost it, got right fucking nuts about it!
They had just beat us at our new ground so you'd think they'd laugh it off but no, the daft buggers.

I remember about 10 years ago sitting in the Paxton. I was almost thrown out inside the first 15 minutes and had to sit there while people talked about their work, their cars, how successful they were etc. God, I got drunk in the Bell & Hare after that shite. Why do people pay so much money to watch football and then do everything but. Arses

I Don’t get to go to hardly any games these days predominantly due to hassle/disability.
But scenes like you described above don’t encourage one. It’s so sad. I’ll be attempting to get a wheelchair ticket next season for me and two grandsons anyway.

It's their cup final. We used to celebrate like this when we beat Arsenal. Water off a ducks back, mate.

Wet Spam played well.... I have no complaints however am pissed off we make things bloody hard for ourselves.

As for their fans enjoying the moment of being the first to score and win at our new stadium you really can't blame them.

Best thing to do is win the CL! They won't like to bring up being the first team to win there in the season we also won the CL :D
