If Juve are really in trouble and players want out can we just go buy Chiesa. Literally the most perfect Son replacement out there.

McKennie on the other hand I just don’t rate and I don’t think he’d really add much. Add to that we need new defenders before we get another CM.
Is going from 3rd to 11th really that big of trouble? Still could probably nick a Europa spot.

I'm not too in tune w the Juve situation though, is it true there is a 2nd trial that will occur at some point with much more serious accusations that could carry greater penalties (including automatic demotion)?

Well if QSI invest who knows what kind of contracts we might start offering. I agree it’s unlikely. Would be the dream Son replacement tho. Also I’m not really sure how many big clubs need a LWF. Most of the big clubs I can think of already have quality in that position.

Anyway, I know it’s a pipe dream and I know he’s gonna stay at Juve most likely.
I do agree with you about the player.

Tbh I was just sort of joking because it’s sorta a non story. I doubt any player is suddenly wanting to jump ship now. At the moment nobody knows how it’s going to play out but I feel like it’s all going to amount to nothing and this is more a case of McKennie wanting to leave because he wants to leave rather than anything more. Juve do need money tho quite badly so i wouldn’t put it past them having to sell one of their stars if they don’t get CL.

Arguably better on the ball than Hojbjerg but not to a point where he is a massive upgrade in my opinion.
Sadly that’s not really a glowing endorsement as Hojbjerg is pretty shoddy in the ball. He’s okay given time in the opposing half, but put any pressure on him at all in his own half and it’s going backwards, sideways, or more recently, Row Z!

it’s a huge problem for us when combined which our lack of quality on the ball across the back line (barring Romero).

We signed Bissouma 6 months ago ffs, sometimes there needs to be more to it than just pushing 'buy player', do some coaching and get him back to how we know he can play

Lol the Ben Jacobs tweet saying Chelsea is interested and he talked to Pulisic, if that's the case he isn't going to Chelsea!

Another player that's useful for teams that need only finishing touches since he's good and covers many positions. But we need to sort our starting 11 first, and if we want depth there are bigger priorities than our midfield.

In the summer we should just upgrade Skipp with Rice. No messing around. Pay what is needed and our midfield will be sorted for years. That would show some ambition.

Unlikely unfortunately..

Think it's too late for that now, no chance a big name English player joins us.

If anyone is bored tonight Juve Vs Atalanta just kicked. McKennie is playing RWB and struggling thus far. Really really worth keeping an eye on Scalvini and Højlund for Atalanta. Two incredible young talents. Højlund is only 19 but Gasparini has said he’s one of the most talented young players he’s ever come across and Scalvini, also 19, is considered the future of the Italian back line.

Scalvini was linked to us in December by Gazzetta
