Just finished it now. Very good result and I'm chuffed to see Gil at LM as he looked far more comfortable there. Albeit we were 2 - nil up and 1 player too.

Lennon looked far more dangerous too. The crosses that were coming in were better than they ave been for a while.

Best thing is we're 5 pts behind West Ham and we have a game in hand!

yes well done to gilberto and benty. I thought gilberto showed some class against psv, and more of the same today. He looks a good buy at 2million squid!

Great header by bent. I applaude him. I gave him a lot of stick last week, and Im glad he has now done something well and scored. clap clap

Agreed we do not provide enough crosses, berba was known for his great aerial ability at leverkusen but it hasnt been seen at spurs. Hopefully now the FBs will realise that with him and bent we have good quality heading ability up front. Bale & Hutton on either flank is mouth watering!

Hutton has been given good credit for the cross and rightly so as it was a peach, but this goal was all about Bent.

His desire to get across the defender allied with his bravery to put his head in where the defenders boot was and the quality of the header made this a great goal. if Berba, Torres, Adebayor or Ronaldo had scored this a lot of people would be raving about it.

This was a goal of the highest quality and hopefully it will get some people off of his back.
