I couldn't find the other thread.

He was a cock and within a minute of coming on he left a massive gap at RB!

But I always always think players deserve a 2nd chance (even Ghaly)

Chimbo came on and showed what we have been missing, a attacking RB! Had a key role in both goals,

I want to welcome him back

what did you guys think of his contribution today?

I must say that I am not his biggest fan but he is far better attacking than Corluka who won't pass the halfway line, which gives our RW an easier time and a lot more options.
I would like to see Bentley playing on the right with Chimbonda supporting him,to see how he does.
I would have preferred Glen Johnson but if he can continue to perform I will be happy enough.

I think we will be seeing Corluka used more as a central defender in the future.

Hehehhe.....I'll give it 1 month....maybe 2 months max. The critics will come back....and all those who had previously lambasted him and have now aplogised will once again get on his back....

I'm proud to say I never wanted him to go, and was actually surpised we bought Hutton seeing how well Chimbo was coping at RB.

But that's Spurs to you.

I only caught the first 75 minutes of the match today, so I didn't see much of Chimbonda. I personally like Corluka at RB defensively, but he is a touch slow to make him work like a wingback.

What do you guys think about throwing Chimbo up at RM, put Bentley in the locker room cleaning boots and leave Corluka at RB. It got so irritating seeing Bentley receive the ball in open space, get tracked down by the Bolton defence, fall in a pile on the ball and throw his hands up like he had been axed.

From the Stoke game and tonight, I really liked the look of Lennon cutting in from the left. That was the only time we looked dangerous in the first half, but we really didn't get the ball over to him enough. Lennon's goal against Stoke opened up the whole game like nothing we have seen all season. It's amazing how 442 and picking up the first goal changes the complexion of a match.

Also, I disagree that Corluka would be better at CB. Again, a bit too slow. As we saw with ManU, one swift defence splitting pass and he is not catching up with any center striker. It would be up to the fullbacks to come in from the angle and save the day like Gunter did. By the way, what did he do wrong at the ManU game. I thought he played really well.

Anyway, welcome back Chimbonda.

Yeah I think Gunter has been pretty good, think he was quite poor v Burnley but who wasn't?

Corluka has to be the CB option now with Dawson and Woody. Woody to me seems like he is struggling with an injury, is no way moving as freely as before. But as captain he has to play and we do need him. I think with Chimbo back, means Corluka can move the CB role.

I also never hated on him, except when he stormed off in the final. Last summer I was shell shocked when we lost 3 of IMO our most important squad players to Sunderland!

WELCOME BACK!
