I agree - but they shouldIt's nice ideologically, but I think the FA will need to change dramatically for anything like it to ever be enforced.
At the end of the day these sorts of issues are far more important to the game than determining whether or not to take a goal off a striker to a defender who doesn't want an og awarded to them because of the trajectory of the shot
The dubious goal panel is mostly a waste of time in my opinion - if a strikers shot results in a goal I feel it should be his goal even if it required a deflection to go in.
This pointless waste of resources could be redirected to determining which offenses should and shouldn't be punished - players who get away with cheating could be punished and players unfairly punished could have their yellow cards and bans rescinded instead of worrying about whether a shot that would have hit the post had enough backspin on it to have gone in directly had it not hit the defenders knee
