This is what Jasper from Spurs Odyssey left us with at the end of the last window, a lot has obviously changed since then (new manager, no Sporting Director) so it will be interesting if we get the volume of ITK that we did in the Summer ... remember this?
Yes it has been a bit of an anti-climax after all the 'honest' hype. If you don't want to read then please stop now, as I'm about to put in a nutshell what I believe from conversations happened, and caution, treat very sceptical indeed, but I'm certainly not a WUM, but giving you response to my rants with my peeps:
Failed in DM coz selling club, who we'd agreed everything provisionally could not get their replacement in time.
Striker. Remember, I did say on Sunday that press were spot on with F Campbell. He will become permanent 12 months time for fee inclusive of prat [Berbatov] package, in other words, no dosh involved.
citeh offered way in excess of mancs but he refused to even consider and DL not at all happy.
ZSP has jokingly in my book said Arshavin ours in January. (They want 100% cash up front now)
Selling club on this mystery striker, we would not of been able to conclude all needed as Arshavin we believed was in bag.
After hearing that in good faith I felt a lot better.
I want to quickly say to anyone feeling sceptical about this post, your entitled to feel so, but as I always say, just passing on very honest info, and it should be treated with caution as who knows the exactitude of why deals don't happen.
Q. Gotta say, that the DM was surely a priority and the fact we didnt pick one up can only be viewed as a failure? I mean, what happened with the all the Veluso business? I guess they were nothing but rumours.
Veloso was very, very real, and that was the hush, hush along with Arshavin!
Q. Is the fee for Cambbell agreed already?
Yep, part of prat [Berbatov] deal, we can complete subject to him and not mancs.
