Unai Emery has made Juan Foyth his number one defensive target for Villarreal, but Spanish outlet AS has reported that Tottenham Hotspur are not keen to sell the Argentinian permanently.

I like the 'not prepared to sell him permanently' bit. The very least we should have is a favourable buy back clause.

I don't understand our plan with him. Seems like we don't rate him but don't want anyone else to have him either. Need to shit or get off the bog. Pretty much wasted the last 2 years of potential development

I imagine anything surrounding Foyth's future will be a case of Mourinho not rating him v the Board seeing his potential and not wanting to cut losses yet.

I’d have thought a loan to Leeds, who want him, for more PL experience would be the best idea all round.

He’s got two years left on his contract. Unless we can get him to sign a new one soon there’s no point sending him on loan for a year.

unless Jose is going to use him regularly (which I doubt) I think we need to cash in.
