Think both Slot and Amorim have proven they can compete tactically but ultimately a lack of quality has done them

If he had a better attacking trio, the game would've been put to bed by the mid-point of the 2nd half. Idrissi and Jahanbaksh ( the wingers ) were painfully awful and consistently made baffling decisions in the attacking third. Their style of play is really entertaining and I would love to see him bring that to Spurs.

Yeah, Kokcu is the only player in Feyenoord's team that even gets into Roma's squad, let alone 1st 11, player wise it was a complete mis-match, so Slot must have done well to get them to ET.

Wow, wish we had atmospheres like this Sevilla one ❤️
Brilliant from the Seville crowd. They asked them to wear white and there must have been 95% of them who complied. I’ve rarely seen all 4 sides of a stadium jumping like they were tonight.

With their injuries this utd back line are absolutely screwed if you press them.

Shame we are terrible at it or I'd think we could really get at them
I'm sure they will miraculously get their injured player back as usual by the time we play them.
Also we would have to venture into their half to attack them instead of sitting on the edge of own box.

Thought Feyenoord were the better side for large periods of the game. They look a well coached team. Bringing on Dybala and Abrahams changed everything in Roma’s favor.
A few observations:
If Slot becomes our manager and we play out from the back like Feyenoord do then we better have moved in Lloris and Dier or we’ll be gifting the oppositions a lot of goals.
After watching both legs I can only believe Ajax and PSV must be really bad because I can’t believe Feyenoord are top of the league with Gimenez leading the line and Weiffer in midfield. The former offers nothing, doesn’t hold the ball up, doesn’t link up or create any kind of goal threat and the latter is a red card waiting to happen.
It was interesting watching Jose’s Roma compared to Jose’s Tottenham. This team didn’t sit back in a low block , in either leg, and hope to score on the counter. This team didn’t fall back nervously defending their lead, they carried on pressing to score more. They looked and acted like mentally tough footballers confident in what they were doing and how their coach wanted them to play. Jose lead them victory in the Wuropa Conference last year and looks more than capable of doing the same this year in this competition. Funny he couldn’t win anything at Tottenham?
For all their faults what both Jose and Conte had to say about this Tottenham team cannot be denied. They are too weak to be successful.

Watching this makes me think we would have given City a go in that EFL final in 2021 if Levy hadn't pulled the trigger too quickly
As it was we held our own for over 89 minutes only for 2 individual errors by Sissoko and Hojbjerg costing us the winning goal from a corner.

Lloris will need to be moved and Dier made back up at most, regardless of who the manager is IMO.

PSV beat Arsenal and put up a better fight V Sevilla than Utd did.

Feyenoord have only lost 5 games in all comps this season, which is a miracle with the players they've got.
