Last season with Bernd Schuster they had the reputation of playing the best football in La Liga

But pretty physical with it, I've read. Although how physical you can actually be with dementedly card-happy La Liga referees is a moot point, of course.

Be careful I've just checked and there are no Champions League games that night. If TV come up with a good offer we could be playing Wednesday. Anderlect capacity?

21,619 for European games, so not an awful lot more than Famagusta...

Sounds like unless Spurs negotiate a shedload more tickets loyalty point requirements for a ticket will be in excess of 350 then. Unlikely given their previous efforts.

Oh well, more of my money going to touts.

A good group for us. We need to use the group stages to turn our league form around and those teams aren't walk overs but they won't be too hard to beat, so hopefully that will help us.

One question about tel aviv though. Is it illegal to use the term 'yid' in Israel? I don't know if Israel view it as a racist term like the USA does.

My Sister traveled over to Israel tonight...she called me from Heathrow after just checking in and told me that one of the Israeli security blokes started chanting "yid army" in his strong Israeli accent to one of the hasidic (very religious) Jews as he approached him Eek:grin:. The religious guy said: "What?!", the security man replied: "you know! yid army...as in Tottenham Hotspur!" My sis was very amused by this.

Anyway, Yid is a Yiddish term, most Israeli's speak Hebrew and are probably unaware of the term yid (especially the younger generation). Having said all that - I have no idea if it's officially viewed as a racist term over there.

Yup, or just wait till we get someone with a decent sized ground in the knock out round...

Nah, where's the fun in that! Went to Slavia Prague, Leverkusen ans Seville last season, and Famagusta last week and got tickets in or next to the official section, so something will turn up.

Plus I've already booked Eurostar and hotel:)

Does anyone know when the tickets for the Getafe match go on sale to the general Public?

And at the rate they're selling to members you're guaranteed to have a choice of seats when it goes on general sale...

I imagine it would be wise to avoid using it on the street at least... a bunch of English blokes bellowing Yids will, I would have thought, offend at least a few Israelis.. but then again, I don't live there... maybe one of our Israeli members could help out?

At the moment the Blackpool game has sold more tcikets than Getafe (from looking at ticketmaster 'colours')

admittedly Getafe not on general sale yet - but if we get 30,000+ for both games we'll be doing well - can't see either selling out
