Very very dissapointing, one of the poorest performances I've seen since I started supporting Spurs 15years ago!

It was a bad performance but not that bad. I can think of tons and tons of performances far worse than that one.

lukespurs7;1610702 P.S. GOMES IS A LEGEND [B said:
and yer stupid error for peno[/B] but saved it and then made about fifty more saves :) LAD!

I thought Bent dived!!!!
I had respect for him as a player because even though he was not that loved at the club he came out and played and also scored a few but today he was just another cheat

He did dive. He was on the way down before actually leaving his foot to hit Gomes. He tried it in the first half too, but Gomes was excellent for that one too.

Anyone have an idea if there was trouble after the match. Son was supposed to meet up with friends at 8pm - no sign of him yet?

Did'nt see any trouble after the match.

The traffic was a complete nightmare though, even more so than usual.

We didnt play well at all for 70 odd minutes today until Nicko came on and gave the team better balance. Im afraid as soon as i saw the team sheet I was worried that Harry had got it wrong again with our starting line up and was proved right. There was no width at all for vast majority of the game. The other big big concern is how we play with Crouch in the team. Yet again we keep hoofing the long ball up to him and looking for knock downs. More often than not we lost the ball with this style of play. I know he scored and its strange thing to say but Robbie or Tommy (up until he scored) didnt play well today. Also Ledley looked way of the pace again.

On the plus side we got 3 points when not playing well. Maybe this result makes up for the Stoke result the other week. Also Gomes had another good game today. From were i was sitting nearly level with the incident no way was it a penalty Bent had lost control of the ball and was really looking for it.

The 1st one should have been a pen, 2nd was a dive regardless of what Shearer thinks/said on MOTD.

More tripping over his own feet and not owning up, rather like Carrick at OT last season. What Shearer was banging on about I have no idea. Does anyone?
