Sorry but west ham are going to bring their a game and too loose to west ham a home twice in one season is going to be fucking humiliating. I for one, am not looking forward to that game.

Fear not. Our 'a game' lost 0-3 last month to them. Our 'b game' will dildo-fuck them by at least 7.

On a separate note, Kane has impressed me more and more in his cameo roles. If he can get a run of games, maybe on loan at a prem club if not here, I think he can still become the player he was supposed to become a few years ago.

We should be thrashing teams like Hull City Tigers, especially at home. Thanks to Elmohamedy (excuse my spelling) who gave us a soft penalty last Sunday and missed one tonight. he sure saved us from any blushes.

Played right into their hands by beating them twice. 'twas a most cunning plan ;)

Come on Werty cheer the fuck up :D
I happy we won, honestly! But winning shouldn't cover up the poor performance and our lack of cutting edge going forward in the two games.

Fingers crossed. It hasn't done much for the morale of a few SC'ers though.

I think there's people on here who actually do a little dance of joy when we lose because it means they can continue to wallow in their own misery like a melancholy hippo. I just don't understand why you'd devote your free time to something that makes you unhappy. Try basket weaving. Or swing dancing. Or take up playing the ocarina (I can recommend this last one, it's surprisingly engrossing).

Exactly. Had Defoe not buggered up that pass from Eriksen in the first half he'd have been through 1 on 1 and scored, for example. There were numerous other occasions like that, pretty much every one starts with "Had Defoe not..." unfortunately.
Aye. It was a case on two or three occasions of the last pass just falling short. The last few games, the last pass was never even a faint chance. Still laboured of course but it's not going to happen instantly. Hopefully we can keep making these small steps and as Kapow comes back into the midfield rotation out pressing game can also return.

Already two dislikes. Just out of interest? whats wrong with it? Tell me please, honestly

Your post is completely OTT! Get some perspective!! Having a dig at Paulinho-the guy's just played 210 minutes football in 4 days FFS!! and he still had it in him to take (and score!) a pen!

Bruce: "We never got any luck in our two visits here..."

How did you score your first goal tonight Steve? Was that purposely done by Curtis Davies? Go back to eating your dog food you fool.

2 defeats in 26 games. It certainly hasn't been pretty too often but something is happening at Spurs.

[David Coleman]Quite remarkable![/David Coleman]

To be fair to Defoe there were also a couple of occasions late in the game where he would have been through 1 on 1 with a simple pass. Maybe they'd got fed up with him by then? lol

If I were AVB I'd be telling Erik Lamela that this performance tonight has earned himself a place in the team against Everton.
Although I would love to see Lamela start as a 10 on Sunday I can't imagine he will be fully fit and It would be a shame if he under performs because he has heavy legs and misses out on his chance. Very promising performance from him tonight tho.

"Having a dig" - ffs I am just analyzing what i saw. Is it now totally forbidden to have a negative opinion on a few things?? I was happy for a few others and in my opinion it wasn't Paulinhos best game. He gave it away pretty often and his shooting is bad. Yes - he might be a bit tired but I can still judge him. I like Paulie and I hope he is ready for Sunday... jesus
