I thought we played OK. Not really sure why people think we were shit.

Should have gotten the win, so the disappointment is understandable, but some of the reactions are pretty sad.
It's not so much shit as it is mentally weak. 2-1 up, they're a man down, the rain starts pouring, and not only do we bottle it, but Arsenal looked the more likely scorers in the last 10 minutes.

our fullbacks do not like to cross.. they only cross when we are trailing behind.. and our wide midfielders tend to go so close to the byline and crossed, where most are already so near within reach of the goalkeeper... geez..

look at Davies.. whipping every few ones as soon as he can... but Walker? delay delay and delay and he hit it high.. :banghead: such frustrating plays are coming quite often in the past week and I am getting worried we were not that composed after these 2 london games, bad habits will creep in..

Love Poch but his subs were IMO poor. Why Rose off? Odd.

Son should have come on for Lamela.
Rose wasn't playing well defensively. Both goals came from his side. Poch wanted to not lose at that point, because the momentum was with Arsenal.

Theoretically, the subs were alright. I know it's easy to blame Poch when subs don't turn out right, but those subs that came on and barely made an impact should be criticised just as much IMO.

How many times though has he gotten an early yellow and yet still no red card? I get some of his tackles have people's hearts in their mouth, but he's still to get one (I think)
Ref's are always up for evening out red cards in a game, though. Lamela doesn't know when to just stop with the niggly stuff.

Wasn't worth the risk. If poch would have kept him on and he got a second card everyone would have gone nuts on here.

Oh really? The same Leicester that couldn't beat 10 men Bournemouth AT HOME?

Yeah the same Leicester, we had the opportunity and never took it. That's why they are creaming, by a small fraction it has increased their chance.

A game we should have won. We did not create enough chances. Alli and Eriksen did not have a good game.
don't think anyone played well, kane scored a great goal but shot far to often, defence was shaky, fullbacks were terrible in attacking situation, lloris should have done better on both goals, lucky point if you ask me, far too many had a poor game

Poch took him off and it's still gone nuts in here!

Lost a lot of drive when lamella came of and a lot of composure when Dembele was subbed. Very disappointing end to a bad week but we're still right in the mix. Also extremely lucky Dier didn't get a red which could have made things much, much worse.
Dembele was good for his first game back but was knackered come second half, we didn't keep any control of the ball once going 2-1 up which is ridiculous as we had 3 central midfielders on the pitch vs Arsenal's makeshift one.

Some delusional 'fans' on this site. If you in you heart of hearts think that having not beaten 10 men scum we can go on to win the league................ Leicester must be creaming their pants.
I'm a delusional 'fan', thank you very much. We can still win it. That's not an opinion, that's a fact. Wether we will or not remains to be seen but its still on as far as i'm concerned and personally i'd have reserved the word 'delusional' for anyone who thought we'd romp away with it and not have a poor spell :D

Football is a game of fine lines....had that mason shot trickled its way into the net, everyone would've lauded the sub and pochs tactical genius!
What Poch didn't want was a Lamella yellow to even things up. He made the right call at the time. Just didn't work out. I wish we
Could start the game again from 2-1

It seems just like Arsenal can't beat United even when they field a team of half crippled babies, we struggle against the goons when we're playing much better than them.

Inferiority complex.

I'm sure there's a program written somewhere that says.

IF Spurs win = X then Spurs don't win.

X= go top, beat record, it seems every time we have an IF game we bottle it.

We'll get better at this. As i and other shave said before, I think an 'onfield' captain/bollocker-in-chief/gob-on-a-stick is what we need to help in this regard.

Did you see Son when he came on?
Did you see Chadli's no show against Wet Sham?

Would rather have bought on Trippier than either of those at that point.
Sorry but we lost our shape and fluency when mason came on for Lamela. There was no reason to make a defensive change at that stage of the game as we we're a man up and in the ascendency and looking like scoring again.

I hope everyone realises the league title will likely go down to final game of the season
We can't predict anything. Leicester may won it with 3 to spare. Maybe it's not a bad thing we go through a dodgy patch now and go on another
Big run

Fair result. With all the talk of missed opportunities, it's the NLD, so the current form of both sides is largely irrelevant as it's effectively a cup tie for bragging rights (regardless of league standings). If I took anything from the game, it's that maybe Kane is guilty of trying to win with shots and volleys from silly angles, rather than playing it to a teammate in a better position. I completely understand why he does it - we'd all want to be the hero in such a game - but in this case, unfortunately, it didn't come off (wonder goal notwithstanding). Great game. Feel a bit numb, though.
