That should be considered a loss. And the only reason we will see any positive in outplaying a team and not winning is because we get to go into work and not be jeered by our mates.

Was hoping my 400th post was going to be one of success but fucking hell what a waste. How we havent won that is beyond me, I guess you could day not our day etc but these are games we HAVE to be winning!!! We must have had 15+ attempts but about 4 on target. Good point but I still feel robbed.

Would like to see us start with Modric in the middle, Jenas on the right and Lennon on the left.

One point to the account. Next please - Good game

I must be the only one who thinks Jenas is having a bad game, I dont hate Jenas but feel so frustrated at him for having the talent but not using it for more than once every 5 games. Dont think ive seen a successful pass by him and his tackling is woeful.

You certainly aren't alone, for most of the game I forgot he was on the park! Why was he there and Modric forced out to the left? What a waste!

We had every chance at beating them today, hugely disappointing not to finally turn them over. As the game went on we looked less and less inclined to do that extra bit to win the game. Never mind.

Palacios is awesome. Exactly what we needed. Jenas, was horrible.

Question is, can we keep up that level of effort against Hull next weekend?

We should have got a win here. Damn tottenham just didnt have the power (maybe because they were nervous) just to get to the goal. I have to hand it to the Scum they have a great defence... but damn it Modric should have scored that!!!!

I don't think I've ever been more disappointed with a point against one of the big 4. We should have won. There was just no drive when Bent came on. At least Pavlyuchenko was trying to link-up midfield with attack, Darren bent just shows nothing. It's disappointing, it really is, but you have to say if someone offered you a point before the match you would have taken it.

Agreed - and the frustration is the lack of opportunities created after the first 10 minutes of the second half. C'mon and take a shot at me, but Jenas was useless and ghostly again... he couldn't even create anything with a one-man-light midfield. Since Palacios took care of holding duties certainly someone with some vision and passing ability could've played in his place...

Take the point and move on, but JJ has no business starting.

P.S. Bent is clueless - if he has to play, then give him a run out against the likes of Hull,... not the @r$e

Im pleased. Despite the fact we should have won, our team finally looked balanced, we looked much more likely to score then Arsenal and comprehensively played them off the park.

Id like to see the same team that started today get a few run outs in the next couple of games, I think its a great balance in the middle with Lennon, JJ, Palacios (was was fantastic) and Modric (was also quality).

agreed, pav might have been wasteful but he always looks like he might do something, holds the ball well, trys to beat players, takes a shot when he can, with bent on it was like we lost a player.

no doubt bent knows how to score, he's very good a takin chances. but every other aspect of his game is shocking
